My lovely Blogger followers!

I wish I could be 007!

Happy Boxing Day everyone!  Did you get everything you wanted?  Steve bought me a whole set of 120 Polychromos pencils - woo hoo!  I can't wait to use them!  I also got a Tassimo coffee machine but the wally forgot to buy any coffee to go with it so I'll have to see if any shops are open today to get some as I can't wait to try it out!  I got lots of other goodies too - I'm such a lucky girl to have such a thoughtful family!

I'm just quickly popping in with my Alicia Bel's DT card for inspiration week!  Here is my card using the sexy 007...

I really love how this card turned out!  I found an image for the Bond background and simply added the sentiment from my PC.  Inside the card says "It's time to party!" so I think this would be great for a birthday card.  I used Glamour Dust on her stress, globes and earrings.  I love using this glitter as it's so fine that it still shows through the shading I did with my Copics on her dress.  Take a closer look...

So check out the rest of the gorgeous DT inspiration over at the blog here.

I'm not sure when I'll be back posting here this week - depends how much crafting time I get!  I hope you all have a lovely rest of your Christmas holiday and I'll see you again soon - bye for now!

Batch of Christmas cards using Pink Petticoat

I spent a couple of evenings making these very quick Christmas cards so thought I'd show you the batch now that everyone should have received theirs!

I've always loved Pink Petticoat and it was the very first digi papers I ever bought since starting card making.  Owner Liz's images are always very sweet but not too cute and I loved this set of penguins from the Cool Yule collection...

And these snowmen are so adorable from the Frosty Friends collection...

Here's a close up...

As you can see, I kept the layout really simple with a simple red scallop border (My Favorite Things) and twine from my stash.  The images didn't take long to colour in - I did them all in an hour.  I punched the snowflakes using a very old EK Success punch and covered them in Stickles Star Dust glue as I had run out of glitter cardstock (have since filled up with a ton of it in readiness for next year's cards!).  I popped the white cardstock onto foam pads to give it depth and used a punch for the corners.  I only used buttons on these two cards but not on the rest as I didn't have enough of them!

Well that is all of my Christmas cards done for 2014 - whew!!  I'm now preparing for my 2015 projects - I enjoy the planning bit nearly as much as the creating part.  Yep, I'm a little crazy like that, it must be the project manager in me!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I always really appreciate the support and friendship of my regular visitors so I want to give a very special thank you to you (you know who you are!).

Another Christmas card!

Sorry, I just couldn't think of a more exciting title for this post!  And, yep, it is another Christmas card and this time I used the gorgeous SugarPea Designs Sweet Chic collection to make this window card...

I'm really pleased with how this came out and so quick to do!  I used a corner chomper to add a bit more interest with some polka dot paper from my stash.  Here are the goodies that I used - just click on the pictures and it will take you to the store where you can buy them (aren't I kind, like that?!!)...

Okay, I'm off now!  Not many sleeps to Christmas day now and there's lots and lots to do!

Ice skating princess!

(Please scroll down for my La-La Land Crafts DT post!)

It's new release week over at Alicia Bel and there are three new super cute digis to choose from!  Here is my DT make using the sweet little Ice Skating Princess...

I couldn't resist making another shaker card - they are so fun to make!  I used some K and Company papers, a Lawn Fawn Forest Border die and lots of Doodlebug sequins for lots and lots of sparkle!  I'm going to give this card to one of my best friends for her birthday which is in the Winter - she's going to love this!

Check out the rest of the design team's sweet makes over at the blog here!

Anything but Christmas!

The theme of Anything But Christmas over at La-La Land Crafts blog this week is perfect for the way I'm feeling about making Christmas cards right now - had enough of them!  Here is my DT take on it...

Here's a list of the La-La Land Crafts goodies I used:

I think I should have placed the numbers closer to the sentiment - looks a bit bare around them now I'm looking at the photo!  Oh well, it'll have to do!  This card is for my husband's Aunt - wow, 80 years old!  My grandma is 83 years old.  I just can't imagine living that long!

Check out the rest of the DT creations over at the blog here and I will be back later with my Alicia Bel DT post - see you then!

Ho ho ho!

I'm here with another Christmas card that I made using Whimsie Doodle's Santa & Friends set (again!)...

This is one of the cutest Santas EVER!  I used some Digital Design Essential papers, my Quickutz snowflake embossing folder and My Favorite Things alpha dies.

Okay, I gotta dash now - so much to do before Christmas gets here!  Have a lovely weekend all!

Snowman cutie!

The theme over at La-La Land Crafts blog this week is White on White with a Pop of Red!  Here is my DT take on it...

Isn't he fun?  I love his wonky eyes and twiggy arms!  You can't see it from the photo, but I also added a Wink of Stella clear glitter on the snowflakes and on the edges of the trees - it pops more in real life!

Here's a list of the LLLC goodies I used...

Mrs Claus!

Here is  another one of the last minute Christmas cards that I've made for my Grandma...

I love this Mrs Claus - her pinny is so sweet and the way she looks over the top of her glasses is classic!  She is from the Whimsie Doodle's Santa & Friends set.  I thought the doily die cut would look sweet behind her and I topped it off with holly and berries using a Martha Stewart punch and the sentiment is a Paper Smooches die..

Not long now until our next monthly Whimsie Doodle challenge starts and we'll also be announcing the new design team!   Very exciting!

I'm off now but back tomorrow with my La-La Land Crafts and SugarPea Designs DT posts - see you then!

Holiday treats

Just finishing off those last minute Christmas cards!  Here is one I made with those gorgeous SugarPea Designs goodies...

This only took me 10 minutes to make!  I used the sweet stamps and sentiment from the Sweet Treats – Christmas set, the stitched circle die from the Layered Treat Label – Sugar Cuts Die and the banner from the Gift Tag – Sugar Cuts Die.  Here's a look at the sets...

I could do a production lines of these and finish all of my Christmas cards in one evening!  So, I'd better get off and do that right now.  Toodle-oo!
