Scary oranges over at Totally Ladybug Tuesday!

Okay, so they aren't really, but when I set this week's challenge over at Totally Ladybug Tuesday to include the colour orange, the DT were mad with me!!  Well I can't get enough orange - I love it!  Those of you who have visited me before will know that I love bright and bold but I decided to surprise the team and go for a more muted orange...

See - orange doesn't have to be scary!!  And ain't this fairy the sweetest?  This is Daydreaming Ruby and she is one of my most fave of all the Ruby stamps!  I matched her up with the ever sweet sentiments from the Fairy Sentiments stamp set.

Well I must say that I am very impressed with what the rest of the DT did with my challenge (even though they moaned about it!) - go take a look here at their gorgeous makes!  I hope you can play along too - I would love to see your take on orange!

I am entering my card into Delicious Doodles for inspired by (orange of course!!), Karen's Doodles for bold and bright, Totally Gorjuss for not square, Cupcake Craft Challenge for in the garden and My Mum's Craft Shop for to die for.

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Kaisercraft Hippy Girl paper collection (from Bunny Zoe's Crafts here)
Stamps: Ladybug Crafts Ink Daydreaming Ruby, Fairy Sentiments stamp set.
Mediums: Copics, Glamour Dust
Accents: Doodlebug gems, American Crafts ribbon
Tools: Grand Nestabilities scallop circle and circle dies, Nestabilities circle die and label die inside card, Fiskars border punch

  17. Not scary at all. Orange is not a usual colour for me so think I will have to try this challenge. Great image and fab colouring.

  18. Mary you are mean, but being on a DT is all about the challenge. :O) I know you love bright colours, but I have to admit I'm really not keen on orange and I have a strong aversion to yellow too.

I think the orange stems from the school nativity when I was 10 and I was the 'messenger of the world' (super angel!) and had to sing solo in the most hideous orange outfit that had been made especially for me. *shudders*

In spite of the orange aversion, I do love the card.
