Spooky treats!

Hi everyone - I'm sorry I haven't been around much in blogland for the past couple of days.  My grandma - who is 89 years old - collapsed at home last weekend.  She seemed to be recovering but in the last couple of days has taken a turn for the worst.  She's still in hospital and looking very frail.  It's heartbreaking.  I'm feeling sad and reflective.  Tears keep welling up with the memories.  And then I remember I need to keep strong for my dad, uncles and aunties, after all it's their mum.  I must remember to hug my own mum more.  Oh dear, I'm off again...

Anyhoo, we are here continuing with our week of Halloween inspiration showcasing  spooky stash at Quixotic Paperie.  Today I want to share with you some treat holders that I made and filled with lollies that I shared on Quixotic Inspirations yesterday...

Yum, don't cha think?!  These are definitely going to my niece and nephew - they are tooo cute!  I used papers from the Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor pad and more My Favorite Things Die-Namics...

Because I used the Lollipop Treat die and stamp set, they were super fast to make - both only took me 20 minutes to make!  And there are some more generic sentiments in the set so it's not just for Halloween - I'm gonna be making lots more of these!  Here's a closer look...

Okay, that's all from me now.  Have a lovely weekend everyone and I will be round to see you all soon.

Big hugs to you all,
I appreciate every single one of my blog friends

  1. Mary, I'll keep your wonderful grandmother in my prayers and thoughts. I know this isn't easy for you at all and I'll be thinking of you! She sounds like a fantastic lady and I know she has to be so proud of YOU! Especially when you make gorgeous treat holders like this. LOOVE the button center on the rosette with a rounded sentiment. That is adorable. Lucky nieces and nephews!!
    Hugs to you Mary :)
