Lil' Inker Designs and Design To Color blog hop!

(Please scroll down my All That Scraps March release and By Lori Designs new release DT posts!)

The Lil' Inker Designs team have joined up with the Designed To Color team to celebrate two amazing events - the Hue's Who feature of Lil Inker's Designs as well as the first birthday of Designed To Color!

Here is a birthday card I made for a little boy...

My recipe
Medium: Copics
Fur: C1, C3, C5
Ears: E33, E57
Paper: watercolour paper

I also used the Crafters Workshop Stitch Doodle Dot template and Echo Park This and That Charming papers.   I am entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.

Back to the hop!  You should have come here from the very sweet Leah and you now need to hop off to the very lovely Lis.  Here's the full hop list in case you get lost...

There will be TWO prizes given away during the hop.  One on each end of the hop.  To enter simply comment on each hopper's blog.  So, leave a comment here telling me what sort of birthday cards are more difficult for you to make - mine is definitely for my grandma as she's not keen on CAS or cute styles!

The hop ends on March 7th 11:59 CST.  The winners to the prizes will be posted no later than March 9th.  Enjoy the hop!

  13. adorable card. I love your idea for the balloon strings. I would have to say I have the most problem making cards for my husband. He does not really like the cute and cuddly type cards. Still trying to work out the masculine ones.

  17. Hello again,

I love the balloons the first time i saw a card with it that you have showing us.
But now i want them when i see this card.

The sentiment is just perfect with the balloons.
Also i do like the little dog and again i'm amazed of your coloring.

It looks like a really simple card but it really pops out of the paterned paper.

It's really great that you can leaves things out instead of putting things on the card.

    Have a wonderful day!

  21. Adorable!! I love your coloring, and those balloons are AWESOME! TFS The kind of birthday cards that are hard for me....male. Male cards in general. So many of the stamp images I have are female, and I just LOVE bling and glitz. It's really hard for me to make a card without using Stickles. LOL

  32. Super sweet card, Mary! I love those balloons.

Most difficult for me are those generic, non-cute, for someone you don't really know type. I find it such a struggle to find a stamp for those cards. So much so that when I need to make one of those cards I often go stampless. (Which is a lot less dirty than it sounds! :-D)
