Well, none of mine have today! Alas, it's just the title of my next card that Totally Tilda's challenge inspired - to use lilac and lace. I'm not really a shabby chic / distress / vintage type of gal but I thought I should use up some core-dination cardstock and pins that have been in my stash for aaaages! I am also submitting it into this month's Sir Stampalot's challenge "all distressed".

Beautiful card. I love the embossed and sanded cardstaock! Gives a vintage look without the usual "torn" effect...
ReplyDeleteStunning card, Mary! I love the colours, embellishments, the background... everything! This is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet MAry...love the image!
ReplyDeleteOh, Mary, you did "distressed" perfectly. Your card is gorgeous. The lace bow and stick pin are perfect embellishments. You've really been cranking out the cards, haven't you? If you need someone to send cards to, I can send you my mailing address lol!
ReplyDeleteLol @ Anita! I agree though you do distressed very well! I had to do an Autumnal/distressed/vintage type feature for a magazine due out soon, I was a bit worried as I'd not done much of it myself but I think once you get going it's quite easy and I love the core-dination CS, the white wash pack is so nice. A gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteThank you for telling me which ribbon it was, I thought I recognised it and remember it now. Oh and for the stamp advice, I think I'm going to have to do another Elzybells order before they shut :)
Forgot to say love the lace bow!
