Colour challenge #9 over at By LoRi Designs!

My card for this week's colour inspiration over at By LoRi Designs challenge blog today showcases Puddle Jumper Cole from the recent new BLD release.


He's just perfect for boys and teenagers, don't you think?  This is definitely going to my teenage nephew now he's studying hard for his 'A' levels but needs a break to let his brain relax a bit!  It was all looking a bit too neat for a boy card so I got out my gesso paint and patted it on a bit with a cotton bud.  I wasn't brave enough to use a proper brush so it's probably still not lad-ish enough, lol!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill brown, green and kraft cardstock (from Quixotic Paperie here), Stampin' Up Certainly Celery and Garden Green cardstock
Stamps: BLD Puddle Jumper Cole, Hero Arts background, TGF sentiment
Mediums: Copics, Stampin Up Certainly Celery ink, chalk on clouds, gesso paint
Accents: buttons from stash
Tools: Martha Stewart border punch, My Favorite Things Sheltering Tree and Trio Clouds die sets (from Dies to Die For here and here)
