Simply Sassy Guest DT call!

Hi everyone!  It is a brilliantly, gorgeous, sunny day here in England and it's meant to be getting better!  Apart from the fact it means more gardening for me (boo!) it also means more time down at the coast (yay!).  I hope it is sunny wherever you are!

Did you know there is a guest DT call over at Simply Sassy?  They are looking for one designer to help show off their release no 7 and 8 and I bet they will be gorgeous!  All you need to do is make card using their sketchand here is my submission - have your fingers crossed for me please!

 
 



I have used Pillow Talk - I think she is the sassiest of them all so far!   You can buy her here at Funky Kits.  I coloured her in with my Copics but instead of using my usual smooth cardstock, I used watercolour paper.  I loved this!  The colours came out more intense and look more like watercolouring with Distress Inks!  You have to be careful though because it's more likely to bleed but the good thing (unlike Distress Inks) it's easy to correct mistakes with the blender.

If you want to apply for the guest DT role, you'd better be quick because the all closes in a few hours!  Ta ra for now!


Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Bazzill Bling cream cardstock, BasicGrey Sultry
Stamps: Simply Sassy Pillow Talk, pc printed sentiment
Mediums: Copics on watercolour paper
Accents: beads and flat backed pearls (from Quixotic Paperie in this section here)
Tools: Nestabilities label dies, My Favorite Things rolled rose and leaf dies, Martha Stewart border punch inside card
