I spent a couple of evenings making these very quick Christmas cards so thought I'd show you the batch now that everyone should have received theirs!
I've always loved Pink Petticoat and it was the very first digi papers I ever bought since starting card making. Owner Liz's images are always very sweet but not too cute and I loved this set of penguins from the Cool Yule collection...
And these snowmen are so adorable from the Frosty Friends collection...
Here's a close up...
As you can see, I kept the layout really simple with a simple red scallop border (My Favorite Things) and twine from my stash. The images didn't take long to colour in - I did them all in an hour. I punched the snowflakes using a very old EK Success punch and covered them in Stickles Star Dust glue as I had run out of glitter cardstock (have since filled up with a ton of it in readiness for next year's cards!). I popped the white cardstock onto foam pads to give it depth and used a punch for the corners. I only used buttons on these two cards but not on the rest as I didn't have enough of them!
Well that is all of my Christmas cards done for 2014 - whew!! I'm now preparing for my 2015 projects - I enjoy the planning bit nearly as much as the creating part. Yep, I'm a little crazy like that, it must be the project manager in me!
Thanks for visiting me today. I always really appreciate the support and friendship of my regular visitors so I want to give a very special thank you to you (you know who you are!).
