CAS Christmas card

It's my last week as Sketch Saturday's guest designer for November - it's been fun using their sketches and this week I made a very CAS Christmas card using a simple snowflake punched border from glitter cardstock and a sentiment from the Lili of the Valley Christmas Handwritten sentiments...

I'm going to make a lot more of these using different coloured glittered cardstock - my Christmas cards are going to be finished off in no time!

It's Bellarific Friday!  Here is my card using the dragonflies are from the Em's Lantern Flowers set...

I just love those delicate little things and how they add a touch of elegance.  I used Prima paper and my Stampin' Up embossing folder for some texture.

Next week's Bellarific Friday is the theme of winter - yep, I need to get another Christmas card made so I'm up for that!

It's the last day of new November There She Goes release and today we are showcasing designs by the lovely and talented Torico.

 

Torico has created three new sets this month - Merry Christ-moose set that includes a total of 18 stamps, a matching called Nice Rack with a little bit naught set of sentiments and a totally gorgeous

set of Nordic Borders.

 

Here's a treat box I made with the Nordic Borders set...

 

Ack!!  I love love love this set!!!  And here is my next Trendsetter make using the Merry Christ-moose set...

 

This set is so much fun and the sentiments are perfect!

There She Goes Be Merry Blog Hop Challenge!

It's day three of the new November There She Goes release!  Today we are showing the new set by Danielle Lounds called Be Merry.

Not a great photo - just couldn't get it right!  You can't see it very well but this card really sparkles!  There is glitter on the paper and on the snowflakes and text too - it's so pretty in real life!

I love this dinky penguin!  Perfect for a Christmas pressie tag!  I used Doodlebug papers and finished it off simply with some gingham ribbon with a button tied to it using twine.

It's time for a CC Designs November release review and today I have a card using Roberto's Rascals Cocoa Cuddles Rubber Stamp and AmyR Stamps Christmas Sentiments II...

This is such a sweet stamp!  Definitely warms the heart!  I also made another treat box and lollipop holder (love filling these with sweets!) using C.C. Cutters Christmas Accessories Die and

There She Goes Dare To Jump blog hop challenge!

It's that time of the month when we showcase the new November There She Goes release!  Today we are showing the new Dare To Jump set - I think this set is perfect for kids and teenagers.

Here's a card I made for my nephew...

And I love that sentiment too!  I must say that I'm rubbish at skiing, much prefer snowboarding although I don't really have the energy for it anymore!

Balloon buddy

Hi everyone!  I'm here today with my Lili of the Valley DT card using the very sweet Balloon Bunny...

So adorable!  I used my Quickutz embossing folder and papers from the LOTV Bonnets and Bowties pad.  And as their November guest designer, I used this week's new Sketch Saturday sketch...

Wine bottle tag for my MIL

Yes, here I am again today!  Nothing all week, then three posts in one day - whew!  I'm here now with my Bellarific Friday creation and this week we had a photo to get inspiration from.  I went for some of the colours and made this wine bottle tag that is going to my MIL...

The photo isn't very good but it looks fab on the wine bottle!  I used Em's Lantern Flowers and the Eclectic Mini Checker stamp for some texture in the background.  I finished it off with some simple ribbon and a bow.

There She Goes Again time - winter fun!

This week over at There She Goes we have been showcasing three "classic" stamp sets from the store and today the Trendsetters have made new cards using Wonderful Winter Wishes, Season's Greetings and Penguin Pals.  I decided to make tag using Wonderful Winter Wishes...

This is going on my friend's Christmas present - she has a little girl so I know she will love this!

Little boy birthday wishes

Hi everyone!  I'm here today with my Lili of the Valley DT card using the very sweet Party Pup - Christmas Card and as I'm the Sketch Saturday guest for November I used their sketch for inspiration...

Of course, this puppy isn't just for Christmas!  I made him for my nephew's birthday.  I also used papers from the LOTV Petal Fresh pad and a Nesties die for the silver star.  The border die I used is by My Favorite Things.

I'm off now to write Christmas cards and wrap presents - yes, really!

 

Tra la la la!

Okay, this really is my last post for today - I promise!  A new All Dressed Up fortnightly challenge has started today and this week's theme is ribbon and/or lace.  I went for both!  And the design team are using the two new release digis in store today and I used the very sweet Tra La La La...

I love these little fellas!!  I used Zoe Pearn digi papers, my Quickutz snowflake embossing folder and Doodlebug rub on letters for the sentiment.
