Sketch challenge time over at A Spoonful of Sugar!

(Please scroll down for my Totally Ladybug Tuesday DT card)

I always love a sketch challenge to get a dose of inspiration, don't you?  This week A Spoonful of Sugar has a brilliant sketch which I had a ball with!

I flipped the sketch on its side and I used another of those lovely Simply Sassy images called Pillow Talk from Sugar Nellie.  I adore these little ladies!  Steve's not that keen on them - says they looks like they haven't taken their mascara off properly, lol!!!  But I don't care - it's not like I give him my cards anyway!

The other DT makes are gorgeous!  You can see them all here.

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, My Minds Eye Stella & Rose Hattie paper pack
Stamps: Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy Pillow Talk, Stamping Bella sentiment
Mediums: watercolouring with Distress Inks
Accents: Stampin' Up ribbon
Tools: Nestabilities dies

Totally Gorjuss is back with a sketch challenge!

Happy Saturday everybody!  Today Totally Gorjuss is back for 2011 and our first challenge is a sketch!  This week we are sponsored by Joanna Sheen - I love this shop for their free postage and packing worldwide and ultra fast service - my kinda service!  So here is my take on the sketch...

I've been practicising my watercolouring and this time I used my Aqua ProMarkers that I won on another challenge.  They are really easy to use and I love the vibrancy of the colours!  I cut out the leaves from the paper and mounted them on foam pads to give it a little more interest.

Don't forget to visit the Totally Gorjuss challenge blog to see the other totally gorjuss DT inspiration!

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill white cardstock, Bazzill blue Bling cardstock, Bo Bunny Persuasion paper
Stamps: Sugar Nellie I give you my heart stamp, CC Designs sentiment (I think!)
Mediums: Aqua ProMarkers
Accents: Paperchase ribbon, pearl bead from stash
Tools: My Favorite Things Di-namics border and rolled rose flower die

Totally sad, but a Totally other Gorjuss challenge!

It's challenge time again at Totally Gorjuss and this is my very last card as Guest Designer. This is my last card as Guest Gorjussette - boy, am I going to be sad not saying that again!  I'm gonna miss the girls there - they are so lovely and that Net is a hilarious!   Thanks girls, I'll miss you!
This week's challenge is "Christmas in September" and it's sponsored by Cupid Clear Stamps. You gotta play to win! (Is that the strapline for the lottery, perhaps I'm not allowed to use it and I'll get fined for copyright!!)

I used the BasicGrey challenge #29 sketch which was lovely to use and I love that Xmas Eskimo Kisses paper pad. I'll be stealing, I mean, casing that sketch a lot!

Sugar Nellie Manga blog candy!

Want to win some blog candy? Not from me, but from the very talented Stephanie. She's celebrating her 1 month blog anniversary by giving away some Sugar Nellie Manga stamps along with some other goodies...

Isn't she the best?! I love Stephanie's creations - so eye catching with plenty of interesting detail but not at all fussy. See her version of Miss Anya Rain here. Beautiful!

Good luck (although of course I hope I'm the winner!!).
