I believe in fairies!

Well, for those who really know me I'm a very practical kinda gal and there's no way I'd believe in such nonsense - but I'd like to! Must be my sensible versus nonsensical sides clashing... sorry, off on a tangent again..

This is the first time I've done a Quixotic challenge and here is my card...

The photo (as usual!) doesn't do it justice, that Bazzill Bling flower really does set off the fairy very nicely - I just love them and I managed to get a whole load of them half price last year (yup, which means I have far too many in my stash).

I was going to submit it for the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge too but missed the deadline - again! ; ( Blimey, gotta get a clock with functionality that goes off when challenges are near to closing...gotta patent that...

Happy birthday bro'!

Yay, I managed to make another card! That's two this week - woo hoo! It's my brother's birthday in early January and I always end up rushing it at the last minute, what with being so busy sorting out Xmas. I've made it in plenty of time this year and, I must say, it's much better than the other rubbish ones I've made him, lol!! Not that he'd make a comment about that (far too well brought up). So here it is...

Now fingers crossed I'll get a chance to make something tomorrow night...but perhaps I might be too tipsy as I have a team Xmas lunch that normally lasts into the early evening...hmm, alcohol or creativity...

JUGS Wild Card Challenge

OMG, I found this challenge really hard! I've never used a photo before on my cards and it took me aaages to come up with a design. But, whew, I did it!

This is a photo of my baby, Poppy, taken last Xmas. Isn't she gorgeous?!!! I love my baby! Those reindeer horns were a little tight but she eventually stopped trying to knock it off (with lots of help with treats) and kept it on for 2 minutes while I quickly took the photo! She is sooo tolerant!!

Did you notice the droopy dew drop in the top right corner?! Luckily it hadn't dried fully so I managed to straighten it up, whew! And another non-square card!

A big thank you to the wonderful Kristin who set this week's wild card challenge (and if you join in, you'll get an early Xmas pressie!). I'm so glad I did it because I know my parents are going to luuurve this card of their "granddaughter"! Now to make a replica for my in-laws...
