Gnome place like gnome!

Hi everyone and a very happy Monday to you!  I'm in a romantic mood today as it is our 5th year wedding anniversary and 15 years in total together - whew!   Today is also my guest designer day over at Pixie Dust Studios and here is what I made...

I just adore this sweet image!  This is Gnome Playtime from the Gnome World collection and he's just perfect for a thinking of you or missing you theme.  I didn't need to add much to it so I simply heat embossed a wood grain stamp and added those sweet hearts (Of The Hearts by Lil' Inker Designs here).

I hope you have enjoyed my little bit of Pixie Dust Studios inspirations today - I will be back in two week's time with something else!

Windswept - a perfect card for our summer!

There's something special going on over at Little Miss Muffet - six digi images are retiring on 27 June....but don't worry, they are now available in rubber!  I love digis but I really love my rubbers too - there's something special about inking up a stamp and creating that imprint on paper!  So to see the retiring digis out with a bang, the design team have created some gorgeous makes for you this week!  Here is mine using Camila...

And do you notice anything else?  Camila is the one I chose for my LMM watermark!  So of course I had to colour her in!  I matched her up with My Minds Eye All Spice papers and that fab ribbon.  You can get her in rubber in the shop here.  You can check out more gorgeous DT inspiration over at the blog here!

I love love love this baby collection!  This is Moon Lullaby, one of four from the Little Stars collection.  At only 99p each, it's difficult not to treat one's self!!  I used my trusty Tim Holtz distressing tool to softly roughen the edges and Distress Ink in Antique Linen to highlight the edges.

Happy Thursday everyone!  Here is my weekly card to show off some of those gorgeous goodies in the Quixotic Paperie shop!  Now, I make no apologies for using my Hey Birdy! from the Elisabeth Bell Peekers release again - she's just too cute not to ink up!!

 

 

I wanted to try her out with some bright colours so matched her up with papers from the Echo Park's Little Girl collection - get those sunglasses on!  I am loving purple at the moment - and fell in love with these purple 6mm beads - luscious, huh?!!

A vintage hello!

Hi all!  You know how much I love those Pollycrafts images and this week their Monday challenge is a sketch with a vintage theme.  I'm not well versed with the vintage style so I kept mine pretty simple...

 

 

Is it vintage enough?  Not sure, but I think the colours and distressing help!  I used Vintage Ronnie that Paula created especially to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance - you can read all about it on Paula's blog here.

Wow, the last two weeks have been incredibly busy for me so very little crafting time. I've missed it big time! Then one of my best friends asked me to make some invitations for a dinner party she is having for her mother's 75th birthday. She didn't have any theme or suggestions on what she wanted so I had to put in some extra brain time! So this is what I came up with...

I am sure there is some challenge I could submit it to, but I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to catch up on all my blogging! I should be able to find some more time to create this week - fingers crossed!
