I'm Sweet Stampin's guest designer for May!

Sweet, huh?!!  I was so pleased to be asked - I always enjoy the Sweet Stampin challenges!  The challenge this week is "childhood memories" - I was so chuffed to see this as there is a Pollycraft image I've been dying to use as soon as I saw it!

This is from their Swings and Slides 2 release called So Tall!  My father used to grow these huge sunflowers in our back garden and they really were bigger than me when I was about 7 years old!  They were in a row against the fence and used to brighten the whole garden up and they always used to make me smile!

You can reminisce with the rest of the DT here - enjoy!

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Echo Park Little Girl collection kit (from Quixotic Paperie here)
Stamps: Pollycrafts So Tall, Pollycraft Sonny Says sentiment set (clear stamps you can get here)
Mediums: ProMarkers
Accents: green web weave ribbon, mauve twill stripe ribbon (both from Ladybug Crafts Ink here and here)

Tools: Martha Stewart border punch, Nestabilitie dies

Bloom, grow, live

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you have all had a super week and got lovely weekend planned!  To end my week, here is a card I made for this week's Michelle Perkett Studios challenge for Mothersday Europe.  We actually had our UK one some time ago, but I can never make enough thank you cards for my mum and MIL!

I made this for my hubby to give to his MIL who does a lot of gardening - I know she'd rather be doing other things though!  I used a Michelle Perkett Studio digi called 'bloom, grow, live' (bet you couldn't have guessed that, huh?!!) and you can get her here.  I used the fabby new My Minds Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky (bought mine from Quixotic Paperie here) - this new MME Lime Twist collection is LUSCIOUS!!!  So much so, I bought them all!  (Bad Mary!).

I am entering  this card also into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, My Minds Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky (bought mine from Quixotic Paperie here)
Stamps:
Michelle Perkett Studio 'bloom, grow, live' (here), CC Designs sentiments inside card

Accents: ribbon from stash, pearls (from Quixotic Paperie here)
Tools: Nestabilities dies, Martha Stewart border punch

Something a little different over at By LoRi Designs challenge blog!

Hi everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at By LoRi Designs but instead of a usual colour challenge, we're shaking things up and having a sketch challenge!  So without further ado, here is my make along with the sketch...

Such a great sketch, huh?!  And this is Lollipop Lil' Chef - I am going to get a lot of use out of this little lady - 'thank you for your hospitality' or for when I make food goodies for my friends!

If you have a BLD image, we would love to see you play along!  If you don't own any yet, you can buy them here for as little as $1 - that's great value by anyone's standard!  You can see the other DT takes on the sketch here - they are just gorgeous!

I am entering my card into the Card Cupid's challenge for mother (Mother's Day has been and gone in the UK but this is going to my mum to thank her for her hospitality), Wags n' Whiskers challenge to use punch or die and also Cupcake Inspirations with their photo challenge...

White and one other colour over at A Spoonful of Sugar!

(Please scroll down for my Totally Ladybug Tuesday DT post)

It's time for a new challenge over at A Spoonful of Sugar and this week we are challenging you to 'white and one other colour' - yep, you read that right, not black and white and one other colour!  I was a bit scared when I saw this myself but you are allowed to use colours on skin, shoes, etc - as long as the main colours are white and one other colour!  Here is my take on it...

Aren't they the cutest?!  These are from the Larakins range of The Emerald Faerie Garden called 'Ashton & Boo' - I love them!  I got mine in digi form (here) but you can buy them in stamp form too. And how about the paper?  This is a digi one I recently got from Cupcake Cards & Crafts called 'shabby stripes' - it comes in 16 colours and only costs £2.50, such great value!  Now, I love my branded DPs and no doubt will continue buying them, but I find these digi paperss are very useful basics!

I am entering this into Emerald Faerie's first ever challenge for anything goes and also the following challenges:

That's it from me today - have a great week!

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Cupcake Cards & Crafts called 'shabby stripes'

Going Dotty over at Totally Ladybug Tuesday!

Well, it's not hot enough yet for my card, but I couldn't resist making a card with The Flipflop from the Ladybug Crafts Ink new Shoes n' Bags release for Lisa's Totally Ladybug Tuesday challenge this week...

Yep, as soon as I saw them I thought of "yellow polka dot bikini" so that's what my paper had to be!!  It was bright enough as it was but I decided to go the whole hog and team it up with sunny blue and hot red too!  Get those sunglasses out!  I think this is one of my fave cards - you know how much I like BRIGHT!  The fabby sentiments also come with the flipflops - I love it that Kerry does that with the LCI stamps!

You can see the other dotty DT spotty makes here - you won't be disappointed!  Bye for now and see you soon!

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird
Stamps: LCI
