Inky Impressions inspiration!

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you have a lovely weekend planned.  The sun is shining in East Sussex today so we are going down to the coast - a long walk first with the dogs and then a picnic and reading our books on the beach.  Bliss - what more can I ask for from life?  Oh yeah, perhaps a little crafting tonight...

It's my turn again to share my Guest Designer card for Inky Impressions and today I used the lovely Gardening Lili...

Look at those eyes!  So innocent, huh?!  I bet though behind your back she'd be climbing a tree in a minute!  Still, she reminds me of when I was a little girl and used to help my dad with the weeding (not sure he'd call it that!).  I matched her up with October Afternoon Modern Homemaker papers and My Favorite Things sentiment and dies and Martha Stewart border punches.

You can check out more gorgeous Inky Impressions inspiration over at the blog here.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

New monthly colour challenge over at MilkCoffee Stamps!

Happy Friday everyone!  Not only is this the best day of the week, but it's time for new monthly colour challenge over at MilkCoffee Stamps!   Here is my DT make using the new sexy Halloween Tiffany as Sexy Cat Girl...

Oh, I bet my Steve would love to see me in an outfit like this!!  But I'd have to lose a few pounds first to be brave enough, lol!  and I never thought I'd get so much use out of that My Favorite Things Skyline die and those hearts from new dies by Lil' Inker Designs.  The sentiment is from the new C.C. Designs Halloween Sentiments Set.

From the colour challenge I used the black (now I'm looking at it, I think it might be very dark plum - oops!!), peach and red from the photo inspiration by Design Seeds here...

I hope you can join us this month - you don't even need to upload a completed project - just colour in something using one or more of the colours in the photo. You can use any of the other MilkCofeee cuties in the store or why not try one of their freebies that you can find via this link!

Thanks for visiting me and I be around later to see you on my blog rounds!

Scallop time over at Little Miss Muffet!

(Please scroll down for my MilkCoffee showcase post!)

It's time for a new challenge over at Little Miss Muffet and this fortnight we want to see scallops!  And here is my DT take on it...

I used Robyn Meierotto Quilting Bee digi papers on a black card base made with my Grand Nesties.  And don't cha love that little heart?!  It is one of my new dies by Lil' Inker Designs along with the sentiment from my new Lil' Inker Pinwheel set.

Okay, that's it from me today.  You can see more "round" inspiration over at the Little Miss Muffet challenge blog!

She is soooo lovely!  This is Halloween Set Lisbeth and Pumpkin and the sentiment is from the C.C. Designs Halloween Sentiments set and I used that cute little heart die called Of The Hearts by Lil' Inker Designs.

You color my world

It's time for a review for the All That Scraps new August release and today I am showcasing the very sweet Beatrice's Crayon...

You just wanna pinch her cheeks, don't cha?!  To follow through with the sweetness, I used the new CC Cutter Corner Banner Die and sentiment from the School Logos set.  I used Cosmo Cricket papers from the The Boyfriend pad and buttons from my stash.

You can check out more sweet reviews on the blog here!

Shy Little Nickie

Hello,I'm here today to share a recent card I made as one of the July/August guest designers for Inky Impressions...

Isn't the Nickie stamp range so pretty?  This one is Shy Little Nickie and perfect for those thinking of you or missing you cards.  I wanted all out to emphasis her prettiness hence the lace and doily and touch of pink (which I don't use much unless it's HOT pink!).  I matched her up with papers from the Authentique Splendid paper pad and subtly distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distressing tool.

Okay, I'm off now.  Thanks for visiting and see you on my blog rounds later!

This is me at work...

Okay, perhaps not, but I'd like to think I sit at my desk as prettily as this!  But thank goodness we no longer have typewriters nor carbon paper!  So you're probably wondering what I'm talking about - well, it's my card here...

I told you she was pretty!  This is Michelle and Her Typewriter and I've matched her up with gorgeous Cupcake Cards and Crafts Lilac and Lime Spring digi papers.  I love this particular paper so I kept the design very simple, using just the sweet image and the MFT Die-Namics Fishtail Flags STAX die with the sentiment.

You still have plenty of time to join in with this month's Cupcake Cards and Crafts Lilac and Lime theme challenge - I hope you will join us!
