Join the Pixie Dust Studio's Breaking Dawn blog hop!

I'm embarassed to say that I had no idea what this new film Breaking Dawn was about - must have been living in a cave since the films came out!  But everyone seems to be NUTS about it in blogland so I got all three films out and watched them all - now I am in love with dreamy Edward!!  Yeah, I get it now..

So in celebration of the new release, us Pixies at the Pixie Dust Studios are having a blog hop!!


There are loads of yummy Twilight digis in The Studio here - there's bound to be one [or a dozen] that you'll love!  I used the sexy Fire and Ice with THE Tent!



And here is the new Breaking Dawn release available in the shop now!

    A new challenge over at Flutter By Wednesday!

    Hi all!  Before we get on to the new challenge over at at Flutter By Wednesday, I can now announce that the ever lovely and uber talented Amanda of Cats, Cards and Copics has permanently joined the team!  Welcome Amanda honey {WAVES}!!

    Regulars to my blog will know that I am a massive fan of Michelle Perkett Studios digis so this week I used Ashley the Autumn Sprite...



    She's totally sweet and thought she'd also be appropriate for a Xmas card.  I matched her up with papers from the BasicGrey Wassail pad and My Favorite Things dies.


    We are also joined this week by Guest Designer Jessica Diedrich who is another hugely talented lady so you won't want to miss her gorgossity for us which you can see with the rest of the gorgeous DT creations over at the Flutter By Wednesday blog!

      Jolly holidays

      Well, I'm really on a roll with my Xmas cards this year - never been so organised before since I began making my own cards!  Of course, I'm only ahead because of my DT commitments - left to myself and I'd be frantically making 50+ cards mid December!  Anyhoo, my Xmas card today uses By LoRi Designs sweeties...



      This is Puddle Jumper Winter Landon with his cute lickle, ickle teddy bear!  And the sentiment is from the Christmas Sentiment set - both available here.  I matched him up with My Minds Eye 12 Days of Christmas papers (from Quixotic Paperie here) and added a little bit of Stickles glitter glue - not too much for a boy I hope!!  The snowflake is from the Marianne D Creatables Swedish Ice Star die set (here).

      Friends are the best over at Pollycrafts Monday!

      I used this sweet couple from the Sweet Love set of the Swings and Slides collection...
       
      They have obviously got a very good friendship, blossoming into something else perhaps - I'm such a romantic at heart!  I pictured them sitting in the park together so matched them up with these fun papers from Prima's Road Trip paper pad.

        A sassy Xmas to you!

        I don't normally have a post on Sundays as it's not a design team day, but I am trying to create for the sake of creating rather than a DT commitment!  So, here is a Xmas card using this sassy lady called Princess Jennifer Latte Decorating the Tree by The Stamping Boutique...

         
         



        She is so cool!  And I bet that's an egg nog latte in the box - yum!  I matched her up with digi papers by Cupcake Cards and Crafts using the new release Contemporary Christmas.  I love the colours in this - the shade of green gives the whole card a more modern feel - fab for my younger, trendier friends!

        Don't forget to upload your sweet Christmas cards to the November challenge of the Cupcake Craftroom here!  It can be a sweet image, Christmas sweets - however you interpret it!

        Happy Birthday (again!) to Elaine!

        It's my turn to showcase my birthday card to Elaine over at Quixotic Inspiration using the gorgeous Quixotic Paperie goodies!



        This is Wee Suzi from Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps matched up with papers from the My Minds Eye Happier paper pad.  I used my new Whimsy Shapeology vine die with my Marianne D Creatables Chinese Rose flower dies.
