Choccie holder!

I'm here with another make using more fabulous goodies from the fab Quixotic Paperie store!  So for my DT make today, I have made a Christmas decoration that I am going to store my all time favourite Lindt chocolates in...

I used the new Make It Crafty Santa Sleigh 3D Kit lasercut chipboard.  I trimmed up one of the Christmas Borders lasercut chipboard and glued some Delicate Snowflakes onto the reindeer.  I had so much fun making this!  First I prepped the chipboard by painting it with Gesso then I inked up the edges with some Brilliance blue ink and then added loads (and I mean loads!) of Stickles Icicles glue.  You can just about see in the photos that I also stuck on some snow white Flowersoft along the bottom.

Now I've got to hide the choccies before I eat them all before Christmas!

Sketch time over at Bellarific Friday!

It's time for a new Bellarific Friday and this week we had a sketch to follow and here is my Bellarific Babe DT card using Gossipabella...

She is so cool, isn't she?  I'm imaging that's me call a friend from my office in London, except we keep our phones on our desks rather than the floor!   I matched her up with My Minds Eye Lime Twist papers and enjoyed colouring her curly hair too - shame mine is uber straight!  Here's a close up and the sketch...

Check out more gorgeous DT inspiration over at the blog here.  Next week's challenge theme is "create a tag".   I hope you can join us - email your creations to Em at Stamping Bella by next Thursday 6 December so they get posted in next Friday's post as well as have a chance to win some Bella Bucks!

And there's another chance to win $25 Stamping Bella gift vouchers with our Anything Goes challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers - check out the deets for it here!  Use keyword BELLANOV2012 when uploading to the SCS gallery by midnight EST on 10 December!

Okay, I am off now - enjoy the rest of your day!

Take a note...

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having a lovely week - not long until the weekend, thank goodness!  I'm here today with another of my Bellarific Babe cards this time using the cool Execubella..

I wish I had this retro set up in my office, but alas it's boring old oak instead!  And I haven't written a letter or document for years - so this isn't like me at all!  Still, I wish I was as sophisticated as she looks!  The sentiment is from the Gossipbella set and the papers are from the Sara Schmutz Trick or Treats collection again (just love the orange and navy together!).

I'm off now but back tomorrow with my Bellarific Friday DT post!

Jolly holiday!

Today over at MilkCoffee Stamps we are showcasing some digis with the theme of "couples" - so any images with more than one character!  Here is my DT make using the very sweet Children playing with snowman in winter...

That poor little boy trying to hold that snowman up - his face really makes me giggle!  I matched them up with Carta Bella Merry and Bright papers and layered up some snowflakes die cut from glitter card.  I also added some Fluffy Stuff on their clothing but I think I put a bit too much on the little girl's hood - think it's suffocating her, lol!!

You can check out more DT inspiration over at the blog here.  I'll be back tomorrow with my Bellarific Friday DT post.  You still have time to join in this week's sketch - check out the detail here!

Birdie Brown makes me smile - again!

Manage to find some time to join in with this month's Birdie Brown challenge.  This month Torico is giving away two free images for us play with and I chose Just For You for my card...

This fella reminds me of the many accountants that work in my firm - perhaps not so large though!  I used Echo Park Winter Wishes paper and my MFT Die-Namics Snow Drifts die with Stickles glue along the edges.  The sentiment is from the Lil' Inker Designs Instant Camer: Christmas set.

Okay, that's it from me today, see you later!

Sushi heaven!

I'm here today with my Bellarific Babe card and today I've got a card using Uptown Sushi Girls Chelsea and Lauren...

I love this stamp - it reminds me of one of my very good friends who I always go to sushi with - fond memories!  Although my legs aren't this long...shame!

I used Sara Schmutz Trick or Treat papers which I also used to paper piece the shopping bags and the sentiment comes with the image stamp - perfect match!  Here's a closer look at this gorgeous image...

B merry!

Happy, happy Monday! It's Mary J here with another make using goodies from the fab Quixotic Paperie store!  So for my DT make today, I have made a card that holds a book token...

I stamped newbie My Favorite Things a la modes - You Shine on Make It Colour Blending Card which works brilliantly with Copics and matched her up with My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland papers.  I used My Favorite things Die-Namics Gift Card Pocket with the Gift Card Greetings and the Jumbo Squiggle die for the border.

This is definitely going to my niece, although I may replace the book token with just cash as I'm sure she'd prefer to buy herself some make up instead!

Now I've got to go and make several more for the nephews!
