Have the happiest of days

Today over at MilkCoffee Stamps we are showcasing some digis with the theme of "back to nature" and here is my DT make using the very sweet Lisbeth Autumn Taste...

I love the movement in this digi stamp - I had to cut some of the leaves off to fit onto my card, but I think I still managed to keep the flow!  I used papers from the My Mind's Eye Sweetest Thing Tangerine pad and My Favorite Things Die-namics Rolled Daisy die for the flower.

You can check out more back to nature themed cards over at the MilkCoffee Stamps blog here.  I'll be back tomorrow with my Whimsie Doodles and Bellarific Friday DT posts!

Birdie Brown makes me smile!

Have you joined in with this month's Birdie Brown challenge yet?  As soon as I saw the freebie that you need to use for it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it - and here it is...

I just love Gnome Boy in the Wood - he is so darn cute!  I matched him up with K and Company papers to create that little scene.

Only a few more days to go and we will be on a plane to sunny Florida - I can't wait!  See you tomorrow with my Stamping Bella DT post!

Little Miss Muffet new release!

There's a new Little Miss Muffet new release and you won't wanna miss seeing this new range of faeries over on the blog here!  Here is my DT make using Eglantine Faerie...

Isn't she beautiful?  And I love that beautiful cat too!   I just had to go organic with this so I used MFT Die-Namics Vine Border.  I stamped her on my fave Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured with my Copics.  I used the Whimsy Shapeology ticket die and the sentiment is from the Whimsy Friendship Ticket Sentiments Set.

I used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 165...

Thanks for visiting me - I love reading all of your comments!  See you later on my blog rounds!

New challenge and new release blog hop over at Take the Pixie Challenge!

A new Take the Pixie challenge started yesterday with the theme of FOOD!  Well, we all love food so this should be an easy peasy one!  And not only is there a new challenge, we are also doing a blog hop to celebrate the new Pixie's Favorite Things collection - available in the store now!  I hope you can join us on the hop for a chance to win prizes!  Unfortunately I couldn't join the hop because my stooopid internet is down and couldn't get my post up in time....grrrrr!

This is also a sad day as I am stepping down as a Pixie  :(  due to work commitments, but I will keep on making with Pixie Dust Studios images as I LOVE Kathy's designs to much.  Big pixie kisses to Kathy who is a great boss and even better friend!  So here is my last DT make as a pixie {sniff, sniff}...

This is Pixie Loves Popcorn - and I do love the yummy stuff!  And I only get to eat it when we go to the cinema so I love the cinema too - so this is the perfect birthday for ME!

If you want to join the hop, start from the beginning at the store blog here, where you can also check out all the deets!
Okay, that's it from me today - thanks for popping in and I'll be as soon as I can on my blog rounds!

Lots of layers over at MilkCoffee Stamps!

There's a new fortnightly MilkCoffee Stamps challenge and this week the theme is...

Lots of Layers!

Here is my make using the gorgeous Glamorous Tiffany in her Night Dress...

This gal was a pleasure to colour in!  To go with the elegant evening theme, I used papers from the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks collection (got mine from Quixotic Paperie here) and the flowers and skyline are dies by My Favorite Things.  The vine die is by Whimsy Shapeology.  Here's a close up...

I hope you can join us - it's fortnightly so there's plenty of time and you could win your very own MilkCoffee stamps if you!

What a mad, crazy, wonderful idea!

Hi all!  I hope everyone has been enjoying the unseasonably fabulous weather we have been having recently (well, it's been good in the UK!).  YAY!! I'm in a good mood today!  Today I'm here with a card using one of the new Gorjuss stamps, called Alice from the gorgeous Quixotic Inspirations store...

Isn't she just lovely?  I just had to do some more colouring on Bazzill Basics Smoothies kraft cardstock and this time I used a mixture of Copics and Prismacolor pencils to try for a whimsical soft look.  I matched her up with papers from the Glitz Design French Kiss pad and the sentiment is from the Kraftin' Kimmie Alice Dormouse stamp set.  Lastly, I kept the embellishing to a minimum by using the Whimsy Shapeology Banner Pennants die set.  Here's a close up of the colouring...

That's it from me today!  Have a fabulous weekend and thanks for visiting and leaving me your sweet sweet comments!

...just your style!

So to kick start my first DT card for Quixotic Inspirations for 2012, I have made a birthday card for a very very special friend of mine...

And, yes, she is this gorgeous and sexy!!  And, yes, shopping is at the top of her hobbies list!  Don't you just love the new Uptown Girls by Stamping Bella? This is Posh Has a Present and it comes with that cool sentiment.  I wanted to keep the very modern feel of her by using Bazzill Basics kraft cardstock and then papers from the Cosmo Cricket Upcycle paper pad.  To keep it from being too plain, I created the borders using Whimsy Shapeology double scallop border die (isn't it pretty?!!).

Okay, that is it from me today - make sure you check out the Quixotic Inspriations blog today for the new monthly sketch challenge!!

Make It Monday sponsored by Crafty Emma's Store!

Hello everyone and I hope you had a fab weekend!  I can't say I'm pleased that it's Monday again, but I am pleased to say that the new linky party has opened over at Make It Monday - come along and share your creativity!  This week I have used a sweet freebie called Banner and Chicks by Torico's Digital Gallery...

I only found Torico's designs recently and I must say - I LOVE them!  Quite by accident some of her gorgeous Birdie Brown digis fell into my Etsy basket and ended up on my hard drive!  Oh dear, how did that happen...

I used the sweet papers from with digi papers by Cupcake Cards and Crafts using the new release Contemporary Christmas (you can still upload your Sweet Christmas cards to the November challenge of the Cupcake Craftroom here!).

This week we are being sponsored by the lovely Emma of Crafty Emma's Store with the super prize of a £10 voucher to her store!

My pick of last week's entrants is this gorgeous beauty by Majorie of Foxy Cards...

Well, I don't think I need to say why I love this card, huh?!  Look at that gorgeous colouring, the fabulous snowflake and perfect flower arrangement!  Just wonderful - thx for sharing with us Marjorie!
