This is what I have created with the The Fairyland digi collection - my very first stepper card! 

I used Frances Burne's (of StampOwl's Studio fame) stepper card tutorial on Splitcoaststampers although I adapted it as I wanted the centre to be wider to fit my image.  I used papers from the My Mind's Eye Sweetest Thing Tangerine collection and the Lil' Inker Designs square stitched mat die on the matting. And do you love those leaves and teeny tiny butterflies?  They are from the Round Leaves set and I just added some punched flowers with flat backed pearls for the centres.  Here's a closer look...

My fab news and to celebrate - a give away!

I'm not the type to let things get me down - when things upset my mojo, I take action and move on - a sort of GI Jane in the corporate world!  Well, the past few months at work haven't been great because of a certain work colleague who has taken an extreme dislike to me!  She has been outwardly been rude and sarcastic to me in front of others and - on a good day - ignores me like I don't exist!  I haven't taken it too personally as I know she does this to others - but, still, it's not nice!  The main problem is that she sits on the management team of my department so could influence my salary/career prospects - not good!

So my fab news is that yesterday I was offered a new job in another department and I will no longer have any contact with this lady!!  I say lady, but she ain't no lady, lol!

My new job is managing the operations for our management consultancy arm across Europe and the Middle East.  It's a huge job and I'm a little bit scared (but don't tell my new boss that).  In celebration of landing this role and getting rid of a big problem in my life, I'm giving away two sets of candy!  Take a look at these Maya Road stamp sets...

Help! Take this blog candy off my hands please!

No card for you today, but a giveaway instead. You won't believe this, but I had a very enjoyable time last weekend tidying up. Of course, it was my craft room! There is very little that I enjoy more than rifling through all my stash! On the downside, I end up feeling very guilty about how much I haven't yet used - I bet you all know how that feels, huh?!!

Anyway, to the candy! To my dismay, I found no less than unused 8 Maya Road alphabet chipboard sets and several other brands too (including BasicGrey). I think I bought them in the sales a couple of years ago and since then I have bought Quickutz alphabet dies which are smaller in size so better suited to cardmaking.

If you want any of these sets, leave me a comment on this post and become a follower if you aren't already. The chipboard is also in different styles so let me know if you want "classic" or "modern". First come, first served basis. I will try to accommodate the style requested and will send one set to each of those leaving me a comment up to the point I run I out of sets (15 in total). Have you been to Bunny Zoe's Crafts yet? This is owned by Nikki Fairbairn, who is one of the loveliest people I've never met! LOL!! I love buying from Nikki because she provides fantastic customer service and orders all my favourite stamps for me (Greeting Farm and CC Designs). Although she's UK based, she ships worldwide too.

Another fantastic thing about Nikki is that she is a very talented cardmaker and stamper too and luckily she likes using all the stuff I do!
