Love lives here

Hi everyone!  Sorry I haven't been around to visit - there is so much to do for our move to New Zealand.  Apart from all of the paperwork to be completed, we are also frantically tidying up and decorating the house to get it on the market.  I'm sooooo tired!

I did find some time last night to make a few cards and here is the first using some of those gorgeous SugarPea Designs goodies.  Not sure if this will be a new home or welcome home occasion but think it will fit the bill for both.

I just love the new dies from the last release!  The sweet background SugarCuts Homescape with those little trees and dog house and the detail in the Home die with the heart detail are so gorgeous.  I framed them using the SugarCuts Polaroid Journal Card.  I also love the Sweet Sentiments Home stamp set - love the font and variety in it.  The sweet heart is from the SugarCuts Notched Heart Journal Card die.

Well I had better be off to go and paint something, clean something or organise something!  Byeeee!

Mrs Claus!

Here is  another one of the last minute Christmas cards that I've made for my Grandma...

I love this Mrs Claus - her pinny is so sweet and the way she looks over the top of her glasses is classic!  She is from the Whimsie Doodle's Santa & Friends set.  I thought the doily die cut would look sweet behind her and I topped it off with holly and berries using a Martha Stewart punch and the sentiment is a Paper Smooches die..

Not long now until our next monthly Whimsie Doodle challenge starts and we'll also be announcing the new design team!   Very exciting!

I'm off now but back tomorrow with my La-La Land Crafts and SugarPea Designs DT posts - see you then!

Holiday treats

Just finishing off those last minute Christmas cards!  Here is one I made with those gorgeous SugarPea Designs goodies...

This only took me 10 minutes to make!  I used the sweet stamps and sentiment from the Sweet Treats – Christmas set, the stitched circle die from the Layered Treat Label – Sugar Cuts Die and the banner from the Gift Tag – Sugar Cuts Die.  Here's a look at the sets...

I could do a production lines of these and finish all of my Christmas cards in one evening!  So, I'd better get off and do that right now.  Toodle-oo!

Lili of the Valley sneak peek!

I'm just popping in to share a sneak peek of one of the new Lili of the Valley stamps and paper pad that will be available this Saturday in store.  This cutie pie is called Baby Heart and the paper is from the One Birdie Lane pad...

Isn't he adorable?  I coloured him (or her!) with Prismacolor pencils and the sentiment is from the Handwritten Phrases stamp set.  I also used an Embossalicious button embossing folder for the background and the ribbon is by Paperchase although I don't think they sell it any more.

I hope you can come back tomorrow for another sneak peek!

Getting krafty!

We're showing you a whole lot of krafty projects over at the La-La Land Crafts blog this week - that's right, our theme is Getting Krafty!  Here's my krafty take on it...

I bet you thought I'd go all out with the kraft cardstock, didn't ya!  But instead I went for subtle - very unlike me!  Here's a list of the La-La Land Craft dies that I used:

I also used my Embossilicious cloud embossing folder, a strip of My Minds Eye papers and some teeny, weeny little pearls for the flower centres.  The sentiment is from a SugarPea Designs stamp set called Bountiful Blessings.

Okay, I will be back later with two more posts (yes, a lot for me!) - my SugarPea Designs and Alicia Bel DT posts so see you later!

Day 4 of SugarPea Designs 2014 Holiday Release sneak peeks!

Day 4 of the SugarPea Designs sneak peeks of the 2014 Holiday Release and we're showcasing today a very sweet penguin stamp set called Merry Christmoose.  Here's my DT take on it...

Isn't he just fab?!  He's my new all time SPD fave!  And the sentiments in this set are so brilliant - not just for Christmas!  I used Trimcraft papers and my Embossalicious dotty embossing folder.  I used lots of foam pads under the circles and elements to create lots of depth.

Here's a closer look at the set...

Want to win this set?  Hop along and visit with our SugarPeas, leaving some comment love along the way!  One lucky person will be randomly selected to win this stamp set!

Tomorrow will be our last day of the sneak peeks - not long now until these newbies will be available in the store!  See you then!
