Blow a kiss

Happy Easter everyone - I hope the Easter Bunny has visited you today!  I'm here to show you my Bellarific Babe today using Jane Davenport's Blow a Kiss for Stamping Bella...

I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this stamp when I first saw it, but I feel a bit guilty because it took all of 10 minutes to make!  And look - no depth!!  The sentiment strip is from the Echo Park Love Story pad and the striped paper is Echo Park's Candy Shoppe pad.  I simply finished it off by using my corner chomper.

I'm off now to cook dinner.  I'll be back tomorrow with new release posts for All That Scraps and Lil' Inker Designs - see you then!

Coco is so sweet!

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you're enjoying the nice long weekend to celebrate Easter - we have lots of family events to attend so I'll be overweight and all talked out by the time I go back to work on Tuesday!

MilkCoffee Stamps is sponsoring this week's Sketch Saturday challenge so I've made my Guest Designer card for it using Coco With Her Bird...

I just love sweet Coco!  I matched her up with Echo Park papers and used my Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Rectangles Mat die embossed with a Craft Concepts embossing folder.  I also used the MFT Die-Namics - Large Leaf Filled Flourish and topped off the daisies with Doodlebug gems.  I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.

I hope you can play along for a chance to win some MCS digis!  Thanks for visiting and I'll be back tomorrow with my Bellarific Babe card!

Wishes do come true - just believe!

It's another Bellarific Friday and this week we had a photo to get inspired by so here is my Bellarific Babe card....

Oh, I just love this stamp!  This is Uptown Girl Faith the Fairy with the matching sentiment.  I matched her up with My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing and Lost and Found 2 papers with a touch of lace and lots of Glamour Dust.  I also used my Memory Box Party Lantern die - I mean, it was made for this week's theme!!!  I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.
Okay, the next Bellarific Friday theme is to choose from one of sketches below - circle or square!  Email your creations to Em by next Thursday 4 April for a chance to win $20 Bella Bucks (either by submitting a project or simply commenting on next week's Bellarific Friday post)!

This month we are introducing a BRAND new artist to There She Goes, Megan Suarez, illustrator of cute those Dilly Beans!! We can’t wait to see what’s next with this AMAZING designer!!

TSG Lucky Ducy/Hooked on Quack Blog Hop Challenge

(Please scroll down for my By Lori Designs DT post!)

It's time for the There She Goes March release!  It's a really exciting one!  Not only is it the first time all of the new designers are participating in a new release, we will also be introducing the new sets from our two new artists.  For today we have a new set from one of my most favourite illustrators, Torico called Lucky Duck!!  There are lots of ducks and images to use on their own or to build a scene.  And we also have another matching sentiments set for Lucky Duck with more "cheeky" sentiments in it!

Lucky Duck is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 24 stamps and will sell for $18.00.

Hooked on Quack is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

So here is my DT project using one of the cute ducks from the Lucky Duck set and a sentiment from the Hooked on Quack set...

Isn't he adorable?!  I think this is a lovely alternative way to say "to someone special"!  I used papers from the October Afternoon Fly A Kite collection and popped the images on foam pads to give it lots of depth.
I am entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp for Spring.

Would you like to win the new Lucky Duck /Hooked on Quack stamp sets?  Here is what you need to do - visit the Trendsetters' blogs that are participating listed below and comment on their creations as you go along.  One of the Trendsetter's blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post. You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps!  The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday, March 30th with the winner being announced during the release party chat!

See you tomorrow with day 2 of the new release sneak peeks!

Say cheese!

Today over at By Lori Designs the design team are showcasing more digi stamps associated with Spring or Easter so I decided to use one from the new line called The Pedal Pushers - Camera Cate...

I used papers from My Minds Eye Miss Caroline collection and MFT Die-Namics - Scallop Ribbon Border die, rolled flower die and a Stampin' Up embossing folder.  The sentiment is also By Lori Designs from the new set called New Everyday Sentiments II.  Check out more Spring and Easter sweetness over at the blog here.  I am entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp for Spring.

I'm off but I'll see you later on my blog rounds - thanks for visiting!

There She Goes sketch time!

Happy Monday!  A new challenge has opened over at There She Goes and this week it's a sketch.  You don't have to use TSG stamps to enter either so I really hope you can play along with us this week for a chance to win TSG gift vouchers!  Here is my DT make...

As you can see, I flipped the sketch and used the very sweet Love Birds set.  I matched it up with My Minds Eye Miss Caroline papers and made a rosette from Pink Pettitcoat striped paper.  I finished it off with a little organza ribbon which I think softens it a little.  I am entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp for Spring.

Check out more inspiration and all the deets over at the There She Goes blog.  I'm off but I'll see you tomorrow with the start of the TSG March release sneak peeks!

Love bug!

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having a lovely weekend.  It is so horrid, grey, wet, cold here in the South East of England - thank goodness we managed to avoid the snow unlike my buddies further up north!  Apparently it's going to be like this for the whole of March so I'm resigned to it now.  Bleh.

Anyway, I've got my Bellarific Babe card to show you today...

Isn't she delightful?  This is Lovebeetle Huggabugg by illustrator Christy Croll of Tiddly Inks fame. I'm afraid I can't remember where the papers are from - definitely digi papers though!  I used My Favorite Things fence die and my C.C. Designs Woodgrain stamp - this is only about 2.5" so the woodgrain is nice and small for the smaller die cuts. I also used my C.C. Designs Cutters Grass Border die.  The sentiment is from an old Elzybells set which I don't think is available anymore.

Okay, I'm off now.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will be back tomorrow with my There She Goes DT post.  TTFN!

Two cards today!

Hello, I'm here today to share two cards with you today.  The first uses some goodies I used from the Quixotic Paperie store!  I made this card using the super cool MFT Stamps a la modes On Safari...

I used My Minds Eye Indie Chic (leaf) and Miss Caroline (woodgrain) papers and MFT Die-Namics Vine Border and stamped a sentiment from the set onto a MFT Die-Namics Fishtail Flags die.

My second card is my Doodlelicious Diva card for this week using one of the cuties in the Whimsie Doodle store...

He he he!!!  I just luuuurve this cutie pie - just like my Lulu after she's been a bit naughty (which is too often!)  This sweetie is called I Tried and I kept the card very simple to showcase how naughty he's been!  I'm not sure who I am going to send this card to but that image is gonna melt the recipient's heart who receives it!

Okay, I gotta go now, thanks for visiting and I'll see you soon!
