Warm wishes

Hey, hey, hey!  I'm here with another Doodlelicious Diva make and today I'm here with a card that I've made for a male friend...

Cute, huh?  But not too cute for a guy!  This little fella is called Winter Dragon and I used a Quickutz snowflake embossing folder and some Echo Park letter stickers for the sentiment.  I also coloured him with my Prismacolor pencils - a lovely change from using Copics and takes so much less time to colour in!

Right, I'm off now.  Thanks for visiting and see you again soon!

A very girly girly card

Hi everyone!  Hope your weekend is going swimmingly!  We are bracing ourselves in the UK for some really horrible weather tomorrow - baton down the hatches!

Ok, so I actually popped in to show you my Bellarific Babe card using the very sweet Angelina by Mo Manning...

I haven't made such a girly card for ages!  But I was asked to make a card for a girly girl so here you go!

Anyway, I gotta go now but see you tomorrow with my Lili of the Valley DT card - ttfn!

Hug in a mug

Blimey, I'm a bit late today - it's been a long week already at work and it's only Tuesday!  Still, managed to get my Doodlelicious Diva card done tonight and here it is...

I love this fella!  He's called Winter Cup and he's new in the store here along with some other new sweet images (plus there's a freebie if you haven't picked it up yet!).  I love colouring him in and pleased with how his hair turned out - shiny!

Okay, I am off now but I'll see you tomorrow!

Day 2 of the CC Designs October release sneak peeks!

It's the second day of the C.C. Designs October release and today we are showcasing some more adorable Christmas stamps created by owner and illustrator Christine.  Here is my make using Swiss Pixies Peace on Earth and AmyR Joyful Greetings...

She is so beautiful!  I'm quite pleased with how my soft Copic colouring came out this time - usually I'm too heavy handed!  And I really like the snowflakes that I punched out of DCWV white glitter cardstock.

Check out more gorgeous Christmas inspiration over at the blog here and don't forget to sign up with the linky for a chance to win some of the new release.  Thanks for visiting and I'll be back tomorrow with day 3!

These mermaids are so beautiful!  I matched her up with Echo Park paper and the sentiment is from the AmyR Sweet Summer set.  You can check out more gorgeous inspiration over at the blog here.  Thanks for visiting and I'll be back later with my There She Goes DT post - ttfn!

You're a treasure

It's Monday so there's a new challenge over at There She Goes.  This week DT buddy Tangii has challenged us to make a card or project with an April Showers Bring May Flowers theme. So anything to do with flowers or water - your choice!  Here is my make with my choice of water...

This is such an uber fun stamp set - such fab elements all created by one of my most fave illustrators Torico.  This is Shiver Me Timbers and matched him up with Shawna Clingerman Little Bubby papers.  I think this would be great for a thank you card for a guy - perhaps my FIL who owns a boat!   I'm entering my card into the Simon Says anything goes challenge.

You don't have to use TSG stamps to enter either so I really hope you can play along with us this week for a chance to win TSG gift vouchers.  Check out more inspiration and all the deets over at the There She Goes blog.  I'm off but I'll see you tomorrow with guest designer card for Tuesday Morning Sketches and By Lori Designs posts.  TTFN!

Wet, wet, wet!!

It's time for the April Whimsie Doodles challenge and this month we want it to be wet!  Yep, anything to do with that H20!  Here is my take on it...

I love this crazy fun image!!  This is Reilly's Shark and the sentiment also comes with it.  I didn't use any designer paper and instead used my Cuttlebug bubble embossing folder with a blue wave using my Fiskars border punch and finished off with some iridescent pearls.

You have up to  13 May 10pm CST to join in for a chance to win an image from the new release or to be our next Guest Designer and receive the whole new release!  I hope you can join in this month - find all the deets here and link up here!

Chinese New Year hop!

The very sweet and talented Em of Art From The Heart has organised this fabulous Chinese New Year blog hop!  Chinese New Year starts officially on Sunday 10 February but we decided to celebrate a little earlier to give you time to play with the FREE digis being given away!  And not only are there freebies, if you join in the hop you can win the BIG prize!  But I'll get on to that later cos I love to tease!

This is a long post, so settle in!  I have made two cards (as I do have a large Chinese family!) and here is my first make using the sweet Deasy Designs digi...

Oh he is soooo cute!!!  Both images and sentiment come in this digi set and I simply matched them up with Julie Billingsley Forevermore digi papers.

My second card (made for my parents) uses the very gorgeous Sparkle Creations Chinese New Year Rin...

I haven't done a tri-fold card for aaaages but think it worked quite well with these papers.  These are Crate Paper Pink Plum papers and I used the new CC Designs Cutters Cherry Blossoms die.  The ric rac ribbon is velvet so it gives it a touch of luxury and the border is used with a very old pair of Fiskars decorative edge scissors.  I have a whole set of these scissors that I don't use any more now I have my punches and dies - I really should give them away or use them!

Here's who you'll be hopping with us for a chance to win one of five fabulous prizes listed below:

The last of my Christmas cards to share

OMG, are you excited?  I am!  It's tomorrow!!!  And it's even better on Christmas Eve for the anticipation!!!!!  Okay, deep breath....deep breath....

I got a few more Christmas cards to share with you and then THAT IS IT!!  I'm not going to want to make another for at last six months at least!  So here they are...

I love this cute dog!  He is from the There She Goes Snowy Days, matched up with Echo Park All I Want For Christmas papers and Lil' Inker Designs Mini Bow die.  I also used this week's TSG sketch.

Card above using  Lil' Inker Designs Snowflake dies, Small Bow Tie, Instant Camera Christmas sentiment and My Minds Eye 12 Days papers.  Card below using the same except the sentiment is from the Arctic Friends set.  I am also entering the one below into the CAS-ual Fridays challenge for a 10 minute card.

And this card (that I cased from a card from a friend last year) has the adorable Birdie Brown fat guy from the Happy Santa set...

Right, that really is all of my Christmas cards this year!  I'm entering them into the Simon Says Stamp theme of anything Christmassy!

In case I don't get a chance now to visit you in blogland, I wish you...

A very merry Christmas - have a FAB time everybody!

and also my All That Scraps review post!)

Happy Wednesday to you all!  I'm here today with my Whimsie Doodles DT inspiration post.  Christmas is ever getting closer (scary!) so of course I had to make another Christmas card...

Oh my, isn't she adorable?!  This is Stocking Goodies and I matched her up with October Afternoon Very Merry papers.  I inked up some chipboard numbers and added some organza ribbon for extra sweetness!

I hope you like my version of this sweet little girl!  Enjoy the rest of your day and see you tomorrow with my MilkCoffee Stamps showcase post!

A crisp Winter's day

It's inspiration time over for By LoRi Designs team so here is my DT make using cool Candy Gram Sam...

I've been meaning to do try out that "negative" die cut look with the clouds - it's so easy to do that I wish I did tried this sooner!  I used papers from the First Edition Christmas Joy pad again and the cool sentiment is from the Christmas Sentiment set - love that font!  I love the "crispness" of this card - as long as the sun is out, that's ok with me!

You can check out more DT inspiration over at the blog here!  I'm off but I'll be back tomorrow with another Lil' Inker Designs new release hop!

I'd better make another three just for the hubby now!  Visit Quixotic Inspirations to see more Christmas yumminess this week and watch out for a giveaway!
