Sweet girl

(Please scroll down for my Tuesday Morning Sketches GD post!)

It's Tuesday which means it's By Lori Designs Inspirations Tuesday!  I decided to use Puddle Jumper Sweet Girl...

I love her pretty dress and sweet necklace!  I matched her up with Echo Park papers and the sentiment is also By Lori Designs from the new set called New Everyday Sentiments II.

Check out more of the gorgeous inspiration over at the blog here.  I'm off but I'll see you on my blog rounds!

Birthday girl

There's a new Tuesday Morning Sketch today and I am here with my next and last guest designer card.  This week we are sponsored by the gorgeous Saturated Canary and here is my take on it using Party Hardy...

I matched this gorgeous gal up with Zoe Pearn's Birthday Girl papers and finished off with some gingham ribbon.  I kept it all pretty simple as I don't think you need much to showcase these gorgeous images, but perhaps it's a bit plain as I normally see lots of embellishing by others who use SC images.  Here's a close up of her...

You can check out more gorgeous DT inspiration and deets over at the blog here.  Thanks for visiting me and I'll be back later with my By Lori Designs DT post!

You're a treasure

It's Monday so there's a new challenge over at There She Goes.  This week DT buddy Tangii has challenged us to make a card or project with an April Showers Bring May Flowers theme. So anything to do with flowers or water - your choice!  Here is my make with my choice of water...

This is such an uber fun stamp set - such fab elements all created by one of my most fave illustrators Torico.  This is Shiver Me Timbers and matched him up with Shawna Clingerman Little Bubby papers.  I think this would be great for a thank you card for a guy - perhaps my FIL who owns a boat!   I'm entering my card into the Simon Says anything goes challenge.

You don't have to use TSG stamps to enter either so I really hope you can play along with us this week for a chance to win TSG gift vouchers.  Check out more inspiration and all the deets over at the There She Goes blog.  I'm off but I'll see you tomorrow with guest designer card for Tuesday Morning Sketches and By Lori Designs posts.  TTFN!

Mmmm....strawberries!

I love strawberries, don't you?  My favourite ones are from Kent in England - sweet and juicy!  Shame they aren't at their best for another few months though.  Still, I made my Bellarific Babe card today that reminds me of that sweet, sweet fruit...

Isn't this little girl the sweetest too?  This is Tiddly Inks' Flynn's Berry Happy Day and I matched her up with October Afternoon Fly A Kite papers, used up some more Echo Park alpha stickers and topped it off with some satin ribbon.

I'll be back tomorrow with my There She Goes DT post.  Thank you for visiting, I always love reading your comments!

Ooops, but better late than never - it's Bellarific Friday!

(Please scroll down for my There She Goes new release post!)

I am such a doughnut.  I had my card already for today's Bellarific Friday but I forgot to photograph it or even write this post for it!  Thank goodness Em sent me a sweet reminder!  So, without further ado, here is my Bellarific Babe card and this week the theme was BLING!

Okay, I hear you saying "where's the bling?" but it is there!  I don't use a lot of glitter usually but I did dot a lot of Glamour Dust on the umbrella, her clothes trim and the flowers - if you don't believe me, take a closer look here...

Yes, well, it's still not showing up well on this one either!  Hey ho, you'll just have to take my word for it!  I used Uptown Couple Emily and Ryan Under the Umbrella - don't cha just love that soppy sentiment that comes with it?  I matched them up with the Crate Paper Brook collection and used my Quickutz polka dot embossing folder.  I'm entering my card into the Simon Says anything goes challenge.

So next week we have the fabby sketch to follow.  Email your creations to Em by next Thursday 25 April for a chance to win $20 Bella Bucks (either by submitting a project or simply commenting on next week's Bellarific Friday post)!

Right, I am off but I will see you later on my bloground!

using Here is my Trendsetter make using one of the fab stamps...

I love this set!  I made this one for a guy's birthday so kept to more masculine papers called Citrus Breeze by Valerie Brown and added a touch of grey twine for a bit more interest.  I'm entering my card into the Simon Says anything goes challenge.

Day 1 of the There She Goes April release!

It's the first day of the There She Goes April peeks, and we have a fab line up for you!  We have four days of hops, ending with our release party on Facebook (Saturday, April 27th at 9pm Est), AND the release of the new stamps at 11pm EST after the party.  Be sure to hop along all week to get entered to win the giveaways from each day!

Today we are showcasing two new stamp sets by the talented Torico with a pirate theme!

Here is my Trendsetter make...

You can't see it well from the photo, but I made a shaker card.  I knew I had to have a porthole somewhere on my card so I thought I'd use up some of those zillions of beads in the shaker that I have in my stash!  I used Shawna Clingerman Little Bubby papers and some metallic cardstock and silver brads for the porthole.

Would you like to win the new Shiver Me Timbers/Ship Happens stamp set?  The more you hop and comment by visiting the Trendsetter's blogs below, the better your chances!  Check out all the deets here!  The Blog Hop Challenge will be open until 5pm EST on Saturday 17 April and the winner will be announced during the release party chat.

You quack me up!

It's Tuesday which means there's a new new Tuesday Morning Sketch and I am here with my next guest designer card.  Here is my take on it using There She Goes Lucky Duck...

Aren't these cute duckies sweet?!  As you can see, I flipped the sketch on its side.  I used Echo Park's Country Drive papers and an embossing folder for interest.  I added some gingham ribbon for added sweetness!

I hope you are inspired to play along with us this week!  You can check out more gorgeous DT inspiration and deets over at the blog here.  Thanks for visiting me and I'll check you out later on my blog rounds!

Oh boy!

Hello everyone and a very happy Monday to you!  I'm here today with a card for a teenager...

Yeah, we all know teenagers who insist on wearing their hoodies any time of the day, even at the dinner table!  This is Hoodie Jayson and I just love him!  This is definitely going to my nephew - he is as cool as this guy!  I used papers by Marie Koegelenberg called Sunny Daze and some Echo Park stickers for the sentiment.  I used My Favorite Things Star border die to top it off.

That's it from me today - thank you for visiting and I will see you soon with another Whimsie Doodle make!

Girly birthday card

I'm here today with my Bellarific Babe card for Stamping Bella and it's a birthday card for a sweet girly friend of mine...

And this Uptown Girl sure is girly!  This is Ava Loves To Celebrate and I paper pieced her dress with some Pink Petticoat gingham papers.  For the background papers I used DCWV Sweet Stack and Melissa Bennett Stripes Lights papers.  I used Echo Park letter stickers - I got so many of these in my stash that I'm determined to use them up!  I dotted more Glamour Dust about her skirt, on the roses and the cake icing - it really sparkles!  I am entering this into Annette's birthday celebration candy!

Hey, Christine - I used pink!!

Okay, I am off now - thank you for visiting and I will see you soon on my blog rounds!
