More Valentine cards - but who to give them to?!

I don't know what got into me last night, but I intended to go to bed before 11pm but didn't quite make it! On my way to the bedroom, I swung by my craft room (just because I love being in there) and ended up making two cards! I didn't reach the bedroom until 1am! So here is the first one and I used the Inspirations Sketch challenge #18 (think the deadline was on Wednesday - yup, another one missed!)...

For the second one I used Mojo Monday sketch week 125...

I used the left over hearts from the Martha Stewart doily heart border punch from the first card and covered them with Diamond Glaze - they look like sweet little brads. Great stuff, will be using that more!

Now what can I make next...

First card
Papers/cardstock: Bazzill kraft and brown cardstock, Papermania pink smooth cardstock, BasicGrey Bittersweet papers
Mediums: Memento brown ink, Copic Caios, Distress Inks Tea Dye (shading on label), Smooch Moonlight (dots on cup)

Stamps: Hero Arts So Sweet
Accents: ribbon and buttons from stash

Tools: Martha Stewart doily heart border punch, Nestabilities Labels One (still my fav!)

Second card
Papers/cardstock: Bazzill brown cardstock, Papermania magenta smooth cardstock, BasicGrey Bittersweet papers
Mediums: Memento brown ink, Copic Caios, Distress Inks Tea Dye (shading on label), Diamond Glaze
Stamps: Magnolia muffin, MFT Be Mine sentiment
Accents: ribbon from stash
Tools: Martha Stewart doily heart border punch, Nestabilities Blossom die

What about the Postman lol? My Postie loved his card - he found it taped to the front door this morning. he had to knock as he was delivering me a Martha Stewart punch - oh i do love a parcel!
We did laugh!
I love both your cards. You make such clean looking cards - i wish mine looked so crisp.I love both layouts - have just had to take a note of them.Hope you don't mind.
You could always give a card to each of your doggies - they are adorable, and will have a big place in your heart i am sure ,
Have a great Saturday - just taking my doggy out for a walk,
Lisa ;)

These two are gorgeous and go so well together. I suddenly have a craving for a cup of tea and a muffin. I love the colour scheme in both cards and those little heart "brads" are just fab.

Your two cards are just lovely, Mary! The first one looks awesome with the heart-punched border. I love that punch. And on your fabby second card, those hearts sure do look like brads. Gorgeous!!

Mary,
very productive late night. Love the cards and a great technique to try. I have a whole bottle of that stuff. Yippee, one thing I don't have to buy.
I wish I could say that my last night of creating was productive. Everytime I see another image of yours that is another set of stamps or paper or something that I want... Terrible really as I am just starting out. I guess the real challenge will be to create with what I have ( for NOW) and see what I can come up with. Almost afraid to do any card making after this last card. I know move on, and it will be better is what I should be thinking but not there yet.
Hope you have a wonderful Valentines day.

Two lovely cards, the first one's my favourite though, I love the soft colour round the main image, the perfect finishing touch.

Time well spent! I made it to be about the same time and have nothing to show for it yet! These are both beauties! Delicious and delectable in every way! Great job on the sketches!
