Ever made a card that just doesn't seem to come together and you end up accepting it as it is cos you've just spent far too long on it already?!!! Well, I have several of those! This weeks challenge at Quixotic challenge blog is to alter an item - it gave me a good excuse to take one of these cards and improve it! I also altered the flowers by shaping them - not sure if that counts though! Here it is altered...
And here it is in its original form. I made it for a challenge but it ended up forced and I hated it, it's like having cognitive dissonance when the world just doesn't seem right! Alright, being a bit over the top with that but at least I like it now!

Love the altered look! And yes and I definitely have those cards that don't come out the way I expected!
I have a whole pile of them! they are mounting up as we speak!!
I actually like them both ways, bit I think the top one is the best. hugs chris xx
Hi Mary,
What a wonderful card this became!! The stamp is very nice and love the colors that you used with it, so I also like the original card, but the altered one is soooo much more powerful!! I love it!! The colors are pretty and love the black 'lace' with it and the paper is perfect! Gives you a wonderful night-time geisha feeling!! Great job!!
Hugs, Wendy
