Groovy!

What a lovely weekend - took Friday and tomorrow off work so I'm very relaxed today, not at all thinking about what I need to do for a usual Monday!  Which also means more time to do more crafting, yay!  Today's card is a rather groovy one, using the gorgeous Lil Lolita 60s Mod Ivy stamp again...

I was going to use a lot more patterned paper with her, but I loved how the embossed card came out so I decided to showcase that instead!  I'm gonna have to make another orange card to use up my DP stash - any excuse to create!

We don't celebrate Halloween what with growing up in a more Chinese/Portuguese culture.  The closest we get is my hubby Steve buying a ton of sweets to hand out on the night and then scoffing most of it himself!  Still, I'm going to enter my card into this week's Stampin' Celebration photo challenge - lots of pumpkins!  Well, my card has none but it is pumpkin in colour and I used stripes too - I think it's close enough!

I am also entering this card into the Sweet Stampin challenge to use ribbons - and that is a mega ribbon, I'm sure you'll agree!  Will hopefully be back tomorrow with another orange creation!

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Core'dinations whitewash cardstock, Black Market Paper Society Rhythm paper pack (striped paper inside card)
Stamps: Tickled Pink Lil Lolita 60s Mod Ivy, CC Designs sentiments

Mediums: Copic Sketch markers
Accents: Stampin Up ribbon
Tools: EK Success deep edger border punch, Quickutz Retro Squares embossing folder, Nestabilities rectangle die (inside card)

Great card! Orange is a difficult colour for me and I never use it, but this is an excellent example of how it can be done right!
