We're all in stitches over at Totally Ladybug Tuesday!

Over at Totally Ladybug Tuesday today our lovely Anita has challenged us to use stitching - real or faux!  I love my stitching (although Kerry thinks I'm a little crazy spending so much time on hand stitching - she's probably right...) so I relished this one!

I used one of the images from the new Baby Baby set - this such good value.  You get 4 images and 7 sentiments for just £8.99!  Bloomin' marvellous.  I used my Sew-Easy Tool with the blanket piercing head to create the cross stitching and a line of pearls.  I used the sketch over at Sweet Stop Sketch

I hope you can join in - and the good news is that we've changed the rules - you can use ANY image for a chance to win the main prize of a LCI stamp!  You see the rest of the other DT's gorgeous creations over at the challenge blog here.  Enjoy!

I am also entering this card into Make it Monday where you just share your creativity and also Wags 'n Whiskers to use a punch (border).

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Bazzill Bling blue cardstock Sassafraslass Polly Anna paper
Stamps: Ladybug Crafts Ink Baby Baby
Mediums: watercolouring with Distress Inks
Accents: Papermania flat backed pearls, pearlescent pearl and white floss from stash
Tools: Sew-Easy Tool with the blanket piercing head, EK Success border punch, Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, Nestabilities label die (inside card), My Favorite Things Die-namics rolled rose die

Hi Mary J

OOh this is lovely! Oh boy, hand stitching, looks fabulous, but if I tried that there would be blood all over my card, lol.

Thank you for linking up to Make It Monday this week.

Oh so cute; fabulous coloring; it matches the papers you've used so well! Love the zig zag hand stitching; you go girl; I don't think I could EVER do that! :D

Oh Mary, I LOVE this card and I am not really into baby cards but this is adorable! And your rolled rose is wonderful, the perfect accent! Oh, by the way, I don't have any lotv stamps to send you but I do have a lot of their stamps and would be happy to stamp them out and send you a bunch if you would like.
