Romantic vintage

Happy Thursday everyone!  Here I am with more of my Quixotic Paperie faves with a style that is not my usual - vintage!  And I'm not sure if it's vintage enough because I don't do lots of embellishing!



Isn't this lady beautiful?  And a pleasure to colour in.  She is Make It Crafty Elizabeth J and I matched her with papers from the BasicGrey Curio.  I embellished with laser cut dies Make It Crafty Fancy Ribbon Sliders and Make It Crafty Butterfly Leaves finished with 4mm flat backed pearls.  For the ribbon, I got some seam binding and inked it with Tim Holts Distress Stains in Forest Moss, Vintage Photo and Wild Honey that I also inked up all the edges with along with Ranger Archival Jet Black ink.  And that's it!

Trick or Treat time over at By LoRi Designs!

Have you checkd out the new Halloween-y Treats release yet over at By LoRi Designs?  This week the DT are show casing them by making anything but not a card so I made a pillow box...



This is one half of Peek and Boo, isn't he cute - I think he must be Boo! - and I used a matching sentiment too.  This is the first time I've made a pillow box and I used the Stampin Up pillow box die (got mine from Nic The Sticky Elf).  You can see more gorgeous inspiration over at the blog here and check out the full collection here!

Pixie Dust Studios' 15 Days of Christmas!

Today I have used three of the cuties - meet Tin Heart, Brainy and Courage!



Ahhh, I love these three!  The sentiment says "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all" - how soppy is that?!  It is a By LoRi Designs sentiment and think it matches this trio perfectly!  I imagine Dorothy will turn up soon to join them!
