Devilishly cute!

We're back today for day two of the All That Scraps August release previews and today we are showing you all things spooky - that's right, we're getting ready for Halloween!  And here is my make...

She's not very scarey, is she?!  But she is incredibly sweet!  This is Devilish Lucy and I used a sentiment from the Halloween Sentiments - the perfect match!  I also stamped the C.C. Designs Woodgrain Rubber Stamp on the C.C. Designs Cutter Fence Border Die.  You can see more spookiness on the blog here - and while you're there don't forget to add your name to the linky for a chance to win a prize!

You can also join in with our Blog Banner Giveaway contest here to win a $25.00 Gift Certificate to All That Scraps. So plenty of chances to get some new goodies this month!

Shadow box beauty!

Hello everyone!  I'm here today to show you my Quixotic Inspirations DT project using those gorgeous Quixotic Paperie goodies.  Those who know me, know that I like to make cards - sometimes venturing to a tag! - but today I have something very different to share...what do you think...

I am really pleased with how my shadow box turned out!  I used the new Make It Crafty Shadow Box in the square frame - it was so easy to put together using a quick drying strong glue.  I coloured in the gorgeous Make It Crafty Adele again but this time with brown hair and matched her up with papers from My Minds Eye Indie Chic Ginger papers.  For the embellishing I used the new SCACD dies Classic Corners and Nature's Tapestry Fan.  For the lettering, I die cut these using Tim Holtz Grunge papers and simply inked them up.

I hope you have enjoyed my project - I certainly had a lot of fun creating it!  See you soon with another crafty make!

Here is the next of my cards using the new Birdie Brown digi by illustrator Torico, this time using Retro Girl 02...

Oh, I think this is my most fave of all the retro gals!  This reminds me of my mum when she was younger - I remember seeing a photo of her with the same hair and dress!  So this card is definitely going in the post to her!

I used more funky Retrospect digi papers by Gennifer Bursett and the heart dies from the die set called Of The Hearts by Lil' Inker Designs.

Okay, that's it from me today - see you later on my blog rounds!
