My lovely Blogger followers!

Guess what I got for Christmas?

Lots of lovely pressies!  But this is my all time fave from the hubster...

Yep, a brand new light box!  Instead of the fabric folded one I currently have that took me 5 minutes to set up each time with the lighting, all I need to do now is switch the light on!  Here it is all lit up....

And here is my set up with the tripod for those super steady shots...

And this was a complete surprise to me too!  Steve doesn't like me spending so much (or even any!!) money on crafting so I was gobsmacked that he bought this expensive bit of kit for me - you gotta love him!

I also promised [some months back] to show you piccies of my newly decorated craft room.  Well, here they are!

Before - all stripped down and ready for decorating!

After - work area (it's actually an 8 seater dining table!)
After - shelving system with sliding doors
After - more storage

Of course every bit of surface is now covered and every shelf filled with crafting goodies!  I'll take more photos soon (or even a video) soon to show how I use my space and store my stash.

TTFN!

What a wonderful gift! Looking forward to seeing your future cards photographed in it :-) I've been thinking about getting myself a light box for quite a while now but suprisingly, even during winter, I still have enough natural light :-)

Have a great New Year's Eve celebration, Mary J :-)

Thanks for the photos. Very jealous of your storage space! Lovely gift from the hubster (LOVE that term...). Maybe you can get him involved as your official photographer.

Could you share the brand of your light box? I can't seem to find anything like that on the internet. Great craft space, BTW.

Hmmm that looks too neat and tidy to me... Can you show us a picture "in crafting time"? That would be so much more lively...
Your installation for the pictures, with the new light box and the tripod seems reaaly great... Do you know I take pictures of my cards with my phone's camera ? (no tripod, but I do have a fabric lightbox)

Aww what a lovely surprise for you Mary! your new light box looks fab! I've got one of the fabric ones but it is a pain getting it out and yet it takes up quite a lot of room if you leave it out!! this looks quite compact and just the job! :-)
I love your crafting room… I bet it looks fab with all your stuff set up!
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
Big hugs

Craft room looks fab Mary, but I bet it's not as tidy as this now lol.
You must let me know where your wonderful Hubby got the light box from. I really need to invest in one this year, taking pictures has been such a pain and most of the time I finish a card late in the evening so I can't take piccies till the next day in daylight.
Have a great New Year.

Craft room looks fab, plenty of storage space. Great pressie too, I presume you put the cards inside but then I don't really know how these work, can you tell I haven't got one!
Your cards are always very well presented on blogger and I have never ever seen a poor photo of your cards so with this fabulous item, they will look even more stunning.
