Washi - where?!

This week's inspiration over at La-La Land Crafts is washi tape.  I don't actually like washi tape so I decided to cheat and just trim strips of paper for my card!

This is Paper Doll Marci Winter and I also used the Snowflake Banner die (I trimmed the snowflakes off to dot them around her), a Stitched Nested Circles die and the Stitched Scallops Border die.  The papers are by Echo Park.

Copics used:

Face: E000, E00, E21, R20
Hair: C03, C07, C09
Outfit: C01, C03, RV93, RV95, RV99, B21, B23, B26, BG10, BG, 45, BG49

I'm off to finish work for the week - and then a well deserved rest with a large glass of alcohol by 6pm methinks!  Have a lovely day yourselves!

Psssst....I don't like washi tape either. But I keep that a secret so I don't get kicked out of the crafting community. ;-)

Wonderful card, Mary! I love the papers you used.

GASP...did you really just confess to not liking washi tape??? Oh my gosh! ;) Well, you fooled me. Your paper trim looks just like it. I love your style of card making so it's okay if it's not your bag.... you never cease to amaze me without washi tape!
hugs and happy weekend.

LOL, love this 'cheated' washi tape, in fact there are always some strips of paper left, so it's a perfect way of using them. Thank you for an inspiration!

Gorgeous card, cute image and lovely colours. Not washi tape fan myself and good idea for the cheat.

Oh so cute, love the colours. I really don't 'get' washi tape... not something I've been tempted to buy (unlike 99% of the other craft products out there!). Hugs, Lisa x
