It's time for another Lili of the Valley design team blog hop and today we’re celebrating our first launch of 2014 newbies!  There are 10 adorable new stamps in the set featuring James the Bear, Jack, Patch and Puss.

The stamps will be available to buy on the website from midday GMT on Monday 13 January and from the shop in Leeds this Saturday.

Don't forget to hop along as there are hidden prizes along the way!  The winners will be announced on Monday morning.

2 lucky winners will each get all 10 new designs!

So here is my DT card using the very sweet James Peeping...

Oh, he is so darn cute!!!  I coloured him in with my Prismacolor pencils and used my Cuttlebug woodgrain embossing folder for the background and just a touch of patterned paper from my stash to give some interest.
You should have reached here fro the lovely Lou and you now need to hop along to marvellous Mindy.  If you've only just joined the hop, you can start from the Ideas to Inspire blog and get all the deets on how to win!
Enjoy the hop and I'll be back later with my Bellarific Friday babe post - ttfn!

Talk about sweet!  This set is so darn brilliant - I can just imagine my niece chatting to her friend like that!  t did some paper piecing for their dresses and thought they'd be cute framed in a pink Nesties circle eyelet die.  I'm giving this card to a work friend who is leaving - she'll think this is really cute!

Want to win this set?  Just join in with the blog hop!  The lucky winner will be announced at the release party on Thursday between 8pm - 9pm EST on the SugarPea Designs Facebook page.

So that is it for this release's sweet sneaks - hope you enjoyed seeing all of the new creations and excited as me as this new stamp company being on the market!  We will be back on 22 January with the very first SPD challenge!

SugarPea Designs sweet sneaks - day 1!

Today is the big day for the new SugarPea Designs shop - we are starting four days of sneak peeks of the new four stamp sets and then the shop opens on Thursday night at 9pm EST!  So without further ado, here is my DT card using Bushel and a Peck...

Isn't she adorable?!  I love that smile on her face!  I matched her up with Crate Paper Brooks paper, used a polka dot embossing folder for background interest and finished it off with a little twine and a daisy.  I love that this set has a variety of sentiments and items that go into the basket - very versatile!

Would you like to win this set?  Just comment along as you hop to each of the designers' blogs for the chance to win.  The winner will be announced at the release party on Thursday between 8pm - 9pm EST on the SugarPea Designs Facebook page.

I'll be back tomorrow with day two of our SugarPea Designs sweet sneaks!

Fame at last!

If anyone of you bought the December edition of Simply Cards & Papercrafts, you may have seen six of my cards in there - what a thrill when I got my copy!  Lili of the Valley had an article in there and I got to make cards for it with a birthday theme using the new sweet girlies which you can find in the store here.

So, here are my six cards up close and personal!

Using It's My Party (an older stamp but just as brilliant!) and Promises paper pad

I also used the LOTV Handwritten Sentiments on them all.  Whew!  That was a lot of cards to make in one afternoon but I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I even wrote up all of the instructions and tips too - that took ages but made me realise how much goes into each card!

Okay, I am off now.  Apart from taking the dogs for a walk, I'm going to stay inside to keep warm and finish up my next batch of cards for the new SugarPea Designs release starting on Monday.  What a great day this is going to be - hope yours is just as good!

Starting off the year with a big thank you!

Hello everyone! Yes, I am back!  We had a fantastic time in Australia, travelling from Sydney to Brisbane through December.  As I had hoped, we had a BBQ of steaks and huge prawns on the beach in the warm (31 degs!) sun - it was the most stress-free Christmas ever!  We've been back for five days now but still struggling with the jet lag - wide awake at 3am and nodding off at 3pm!

If you haven't been before, you really should visit Australia.  The people are so friendly, welcoming and respectful.  The scenery is amazing and so easy to drive around with such little traffic!  Steve was also very pleased that his fear of getting bitten, eaten or poisoned by the native animals didn't come true, lol!

Anyhoo, here is my first card of 2014 and it's a thank you card for my in-laws for all of our lovely Christmas pressies.  As this week the theme was anything goes for Bellarific Friday, I used Stamping Bella Lulu's Morning Fix...

This is so perfect for my MIL - it's just like her first thing in the morning on a Sunday - a cup of tea in one hand, sitting in her morning gown and doing the weekly phone calls to the family members!

The next Bellarific Friday theme is to be inspired by this photo...

Send your creations to Em by next Thursday to get showcased next week on Bloggabella and a chance to win some Bella Bucks!

I'll be back tomorrow with my Lili of the Valley post and I'll be back to doing my usual blog rounds to visit you all too.  ttfn!
