Head in the clouds!

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all having a lovely week.  I am sorry I haven't visited as much as I usually do - just got a lot on but back to normal service today!  My craft room is also now fully decorated and I've moved most of my crafty stash back in there - just taking the opportunity to sort through my stamps and store them properly which is taking longer than I thought!  Found so many that I haven't even inked up yet!!

Okay, so I'm here now to show you my card I made for today's MilkCoffee Stamps showcase of In The Clouds...

Isn't this little girl so beautiful?  I matched her up with My Minds Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky papers and my fave Lil' Inker Designs Of the Heart Dies.  You can check out more cute inspiration over on the blog here!

I'll be back later this morning with my Little Miss Muffet DT post - see you then!

Give us a cuddle then!

Happy Monday everyone!  What a great start to the week - I get to work from home today so no long commute for me, woo hoo!  So, before I get started on my laptop, just to let you know that MilkCoffee Stamps are sponsoring the new Forever Friends challenge that starts today.  I was lucky enough to get a guest designer spot on it so here is my make using Lola 6...

Oh, I bet you just wanna hug something now, huh?  I love this cute gal with her oversized teddy - it reminds me of the huge teddy my mum bought me for Christmas when I was a child.  Okay, so here is the challenge theme to use at least one colour from this gorgeous inspiration photo...

I hope you get to join in for a chance to win some sweet MilkCoffee Stamp!  Okay, I'm off to start my working week sitting in my PJs!!

Vespa babe!

Happy Sunday everyone!  I'm here with my weekly DT make to show you some more of my faves from the Quixotic Paperie store!  Today I have a card (no surprise, there then!) using Stamping Bella's Uptown Girls Vienna on her Vespa...

I just wish I had super long legs like this super cool gal!  I matched her up with papers from the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline: Dolled Up pad and of course I had to use some more of the lovely My Favorite Things Die-Namics.  This time I used the Simply Scallops MEDIUM die, Dainty Dots Border die and the sentiment (which comes with the stamp) is stamped on one of the Designer Labels 4 STAX.

I used this week's Bellarific Friday sketch (it's a really gorgeous one!)...

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will see you soon!

Back to school with Whimsie Doodles!

(Please scroll down for my Anything But A Card DT post -
it's not a card for a change!!)

It's time for the new Whimsie Doodles September 2012 monthly challenge and this month we want to see your projects to do with Back to School!  So without further ado, here is my make using School Lizzie...

What a cute gal, huh?  I matched her up with October Afternoon Report Card papers with My Favorite Things Die-Namics Paper Doll border die and Stacking Stars dies.  The sentiment is from the C.C. Designs School Logos set.

I hope you can play along with us this month over on the blog here - you have up to Tuesday, September 25th at Midnight CST to join in.  Check out all the deets here where you can also find out how to become our next Guest Designer and get the November's new release to play with for free!

A new fortnightly ABAC challenge!

Have you see the new challenge in town - Anything But A Card?  I was lucky enough to be invited to join the design team!  I've been trying to stretch my skills but I just end up making cards what with the limited time I have.  Being on this design team will force me to do something different!  You can check out all the deets here, but in brief the challenges are fortnightly with new challenges starting on the 1st and the 15th of each month.  And without further ado, here is my project...

I'm really pleased how this box turned out!  I followed the instructions over at Splitcoaststampers here (by the very talented and lovely Beate!).  I used my Nestie scallop heart and heart dies, digi stamp Summer Memories by Birdie Brown and My Minds Eye papers.  The flourish and flowers are made with My Favorite Things dies.

So, I hope you can join our challenges - it was so much fun to make something other than a card!  You can get more inspiration over at the blog here and find out more details on the prize that is valued at $150 from Lindy's Stamp Gang!

Little Miss Muffet new release!

There's a new Little Miss Muffet release of the gorgeous The Isles of Aldmer range.  Here is my DT make using Lightning and Silverstar...

Isn't this image just gorgeous?!  This is such a dreamy romantic couple, I am going to send her to my reently engaged friend who is a bit of a hippie (she describes herself like that!!) - I know she will love this!  If you take a closer look, you can see the rings on their horns...

They were so dreamy to colour in too - for the hair I used mainly Copic C greys, but also a touch of YG93 too.  I matched them up with BasicGrey Origins papers and My Favorite Things Die-Namics Sentiments Strips die, Vine Border, Wonky Scallop border die and Rolled Daisy die. I used this week's Sketch Saturday...errr...sketch!

Okay, that is it from me - you can check out more The Isles of Aldmer gorgossity over on the blog here!

More puppy love!

Whew - I managed to make my fifth card for their a five day challenge!  So here is my entry for the TSGBC03- Sandra's Inspirational Birthday Challenge which is a fab photo...

I used the really cute Puppy Love set again - these little puppies are sooooo cute!  I used My Minds Eye Love Me papers and My Favorite Things Die-Namics Banner Strip Die, Fishtail Flags STAX and Small Scallop Border.  This is going to be my husband's birthday card - a bit too sweet for him but I love it too much to give to anyone else!

Right, I'm off to bed now for another early start for work!  Thanks for visiting!
