Oh baby!

Have you seen Karen's latest Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge #57 yet? When I first saw it I thought, "uh oh, another difficult challenge", but then I imagined graduated colours and considered doing a sunset card (yellow to deep orange). I got very excited! And then I thought it would be a good way to showcase some stitching. So I umm'ed and ahhh'ed and landed on this...

The stitching didn't come out brilliantly, but I don't suppose you can expect much from a £20 mini sewing machine! I really wanted to do the graduated colours, but I didn't have the right cardstock. Perhaps I should have inked up some white cardstock. Hey ho, nevermind, perhaps I'll do it later in the week.

Oh, and in case you read my blog yesterday, I ended having a good day at work, albeit it being mega busy - my mojo came back just in time!

Papers/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie papers
Mediums: Distress Tea Dye ink
Stamps: none
Accents: lace ribbon (from Bunny Zoe's Crafts
here), ribbon from stash
Tools: Nestabilities blossom and classic circle, Fiskars Apron border punch

Thank you once again - and it will be great to see some of my friends over on the B the Cute and Girly challenge. One of the things that interested me in it was that you can submit other crafts than just cards. I have neglected some of my other skills since i started cardmaking and its a shame. So i look forward to using existing and new skills.
They seem a great set of girls and although i am a little nervous about the technical side of things i am excited too.
Your comments have been appreciated and gave me the confidence to apply.
Crafters are all such lovely people

Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Many thanks!
