Wishing you a beautiful day!

Yay, it's Friday!!!  Isn't that just wonderful?!  Can you tell I'm pleased?  This week has been sooo long, I thought it was Thursday on Tuesday!  I've got something a little different - but not too different - today!  Yes, it does involve cards, but this time I made a box to put them in!

Outside notelet box showing back and front
Inside notelet box with cards
Front and side of notelet box

This is my mother-in-law's birthday present - she writes quite a bit and sends out lots of thank you cards so I've left the insides blank for her own messages.  I made two of each notelet and don't ask how I made the box - I made it up as I went along!  I'm not good at following instructions so I just thought I'd see what would happen!  The most amazing this about this set is that it only took me 3 hours to make it last night!  It can take me days just to make a single card, lol!!

I used the gorgeous DCWV La Creme paper pack - you can't see from the photo but it has some flock on the patterns and flowers so I've used velvet ribbon and I found some velvet paper which I used to die cut the scalloped hearts.  It looks quite luscious IRL!!

Back tomorrow with a "Totally Gorjuss" card!

I am submitting this card into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, DCWV La Creme paper pack, velvet paper from stash
Stamps: My Favorite Things Die-namics Framed Greetings stamp set, Inkadinkado Flourishes stamp set
Mediums: Versafine ink
Accents: velvet ribbon, silk ribbon and eyelets from stash
Tools: Nestabilities scallop circle and circle dies, My Favorite Things Die-namics Framed Greetings Die

Hi Mary, how's the weather now? Ours is horrible, it's bright and sunny, but very windy and it's going down to -18C overnight. Your card box is just gorgeous, so elegant, as are the cards. Wonderful job!!
