A new Cupcake Craftroom monthly challenge!

It's the first of the month (pinch, punch an' all that!) which means it's all new at the Cupcake Craftroom monthly challengeThis month we have a colour challenge for you...
Pink and Green!
And this month the DT got to play with the Pretty Paper digi collection by Cupcake Cards and Crafts and you can get it here!  This was such a pleasure to play with - so soft and feminine yet fresh and contemporary too!  Here is what I made with it...

I used the petals paper for the background and  the spotty and solids colours for the flowers and leaves - these papers are just soooo pretty!  I printed the digi paper onto textured cardstock so I could give the distress the edges a little to give it a very subtle shabby chic feel.

I hope you can play along with us this month - you don't need to use Cupcake Cards & Crafts goodies and I just know you will love playing with this colour combo!  Want to see more inspiration?  Check out the rest of the DT makes at the challenge blog here!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Pretty Paper digi collection by Cupcake Cards and Crafts here
Stamps: My Favorite Things sentiment and label dies set
Mediums: chalk inks
Accents: ribbon from stash
, beads from Quixotic Paperie here
Tools: Martha Stewart border punch, My Favorite Things flower dies, Magnolia leaf die, distressing tool
