Craft room update!

Okay, at last, here is an update on my craft room!  As most of you know, we are converting one of our spare bedrooms into my very own craft room!  As we have to fit it in with everything else going on in our lives, it has taken a loooong time!  The room needed some serious updating and that dorma window was a nightmare to wallpaper around!

So here is the before picture...

This is it all prepped...

And here it is all shiny and new!

I would have liked the windows to be white too but as it's a Tudor style house, the woodwork outside is brown and so our double glazing had to be too.  The carpet is going to be fitted next week and then in goes the furniture - woo hoo, can't wait!!!  I am showing this on Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Thursday.

So, hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll be posting the room in all it's finished glory!  Toodle-oo for now!

On my desktop, all I saw was "Where's my creativity" and then the image of an empty room and thought, "EEEK...where's her furniture???" Phew...glad to know that what is missing is supposed to be missing and I'm so excited to see the makeover. That's a beautiful new look to the room. :)

Hi Mary!!
It's been so long since I had a visit with you and boy have you been a busy bee!! The room looks awe-mazing so far. Love that color and maybe if you accent with some browns the same color as the window it will all tie in. Can't wait to see the finished room. Hope you've been well, I've missed visiting you. Will try to pop in more often.
Have a lovely day!!

This is really looking great, love the blue colour and it looks to be a great size for a craftroom.
My Daughter lives in a close and when the houses were built the stipulation was that the houses could be any shape or size but they all had to have brown windows.
Now she didn't have the house from new but she didn't like the inside of the house having brown windows but she found that you could get UPVC with brown on the outside and white on the inside, so she has had them all changed and it does make a difference. Maybe food for thought for you.

Congrats on getting your very own craft room. Feels good to have your own space doesn't it. LOVE the color on the wall. So calm and inviting.
Thanks for sharing in the Sassy Cheryl's SMThursday this week.

Oh how fun! Now that the kids are out of the house, I have had a dedicated craft room too! Love your colors - very similar to mine. You can fit the windows into your color scheme by adding a dark desk. That's what I have and it looks fantastic with the blue and white. Good Luck with the finishing touches and can't wait to see it all done!

So exciting - I have a two bed apt. I made the "master bedroom" my craft room. I'm rearranging and cleaning it tomorrow - I love my space. You'll be so happy - I'm excited for you.

Come on now! Really? Someone who whips out a card every 15 minutes should have no trouble finishing a little craft room. With your style and talent, I am sure it will be wonderful. You started with a beautiful color.
