Sorry for you England footie fans out there!

I should start off by saying that I really don't like football - I hate the aggressive behaviour that often comes with it (and I've experienced it first hand!), but I do like the way it brings people together.  So I'm really sorry that England are already out of world cup and I know there are quite a few of you who are really disappointed.

I was hoping my Lili of the Valley DT card today would be rallying the troops, but instead it will have to be a commiserations card instead!  Here it is using Super Striker and papers from the Petal Fresh pad...

I love this guy!  I think he's perfect for any footie mad guy - I think my 50 year old bro will even love it!

Check out more fab inspiration over at the Ideas to Inspire blog here.  I'll be back tomorrow with my Doodlelicious Diva make - see you then!

I pretty much avoid watching sports all together, if I can, but I must say, I can appreciate a fantastic sports card. LOVE how you did the shadowing on the soccer ball. That's fabulous looking. Really gives it the perfect texture :)

He's fabulous Mary... and the grass die behind him really is a genius stroke! LOL! You're right... perfect for any football fan!

I'm not really a sports fan - I watch the Formula 1 with my OH... but as to the rest... yes it's fab to see the patriotism... but I will be glad when the World Cup/Wimbledon/Tour de France/Commonwealth Games - is over! LOL! Still, it means we're rushing through our Game of Thrones box sets! LOL

Hugs
