Make It Monday sponsored by Cupcake Cards & Crafts!

You know, I don't mind Mondays so much - I look forward to sharing my DT cards that are scheduled to post on Mondays!!  And this post is for the Make It Monday challenge where we just want you to share creativity, be it new or old!  I love seeing the entrant's creations - talk about inspiration!  For this week, we are being sponsored by one of my favourite stores that sells gorgeous and funky digital papers and kits!  This is my make using their gorgeous You Rock! design digi papers...

I thought the Tickled Pink Lil' Lolita 60's Hippie Willow (from Bunny Zoe's here) would be perfect for this funky and used some CC Designs sentiments (don't ask me which!).  As you can see from the photos, I used the same papers to create the smaller squares then the large background for the inside of the card - I simply did this using the printing options.  If you want more info on this, just ask!

Anyhoo, this week's prize will be the 'Polly Anna' Paper collection (which you can buy here), a bright colour palette with fabulous modern designs!

You can see what the rest of the design team made with this gorgeous paper collection here - I know you will love them!

And now for my choice from last week's MIM entrants!  This week I have chosen this stunning shabby chic tag by Einat!  It's easy to see why I love it but the most striking aspects are the colour combo and placement of the embellies - just came together perfectly!

Thanks for visiting and I'll be back later with my DT card for Quixotic Inspirations and some exciting news on my guest designer role for Pollycrafts Monday!

I just can't thank you enough

Hello everyone!  Well, I had good intentions to get out there and tidy up the garden, but it started raining heavily again!  What a shame : )  so will have to do something else inside...like make a card perhaps...and then the ironing.  I actually prefer ironing to gardening.

So, a quick card from me now - the challenge over at Some Odd Girl is "All White or Kraft with 2 pops of color" so I went for the white version...

I used Tiny Tia Bow and I didn't use any designer papers!  Instead I used my Hero Arts dot background stamp and highlighted it with my Viva Decor pearl gel pen (from Quixotic Paperie here).  I finished it off with some buttons and twine (from Quixotic Paperie here).

I am also entering my card into Cute Card Thursday for birthstones (mine are peridot and topaz for August) and I took my colour inspiration from this week's CR84FN challenge...

Okay, that's it from me today!  Back tomorrow and Tuesday with lots and lots and lots of DT cards - so hold onto your seats!!

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock
Stamps: Some Odd Girl Tiny Tia Bow, sentiment from My Favorite Things label and stamp die set
Mediums: Copics
Accents: ric rac ribbon and buttons from stash,  twine (from Quixotic Paperie here)
Tools: Martha Stewart border punch, My Favorite Things label and stamp die set

Happy times!

Hi everyone!  I bet you were wondering where I had gotten to!  Tons of posts early in the week and then - poof!  Nothing!  Well, I am busy crafting to keep up with my DT commitments but I've also started a course to get my project management qualification (I actually already have one but this one is a globally recognised one so more ooomph for my CV!).  Which means less time just to create and apologies that I haven't been visiting you every day like I normally would!  But will try to visit at least every other day, I promise!

Anyhoo, I made a card for Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps - I had so much fun creating her that I completely forgot to follow the theme!  What a wally!  So I've had to make a another card for that but thought I should go ahead and share the card anyway....

I am lovin' these new Karber stamps for SCRS!  This Bubble Millie is so much fun to colour in!  I matched her up with Echo Park Sweet Summertime papers (from Quixotic Paperie here) and used My Favorite Things banner strip die (from Dies to Die For here).

Okay, that's it from me today - see you soon!

We have some lovely samples to show you and would love for you to hop through the list below to see all the fabulous makes.

Kimmie started her stamp company in October 2009 and since then has bought us some wonderful images from some amazing artists: Annie Rodrigue with Moonlight Whispers, Cheryl Alger DesignsSteven Leary Designs, Crissy Armstrong with Crissy's Cuties and Jean Grant with Cindy and Mindy and now the latest addition Emilie's Etchings by Emilie Goulet.

The Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps range is available in the UK/Europe at Quixotic Paperie.  If you're in Canada/US then you can find the stamps at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps direct!

Which is your favourite? Too hard to choose!

As part of the celebrations and the spotlight today, we have a PRIZE GIVEAWAY!
Pop on over to the Quixotic Inspirations blog to get all the details and enter the draw to win some fantastic Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and more!

And here is my spotlight on Kraftin Kimmie's fairy called Clarabelle...

How beautiful is she?!!  I wanted to keep a softer look so went a bit mad on the distressing and kept the colour palette simple.  The sentiment is from the Kraftin Kimmie fairy Tallulahbelle set - what a great sentiment!  I used my Sew Easy Tool with white floss and the zig zag head to create that border and the paper is from the My Minds Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky paper pad (only a few pages of this left, boo!!)

Wanna see some more gorgeous inspiration?!  Hop on over to each of the blogs below to see some yummy Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp goodness!

- Kimmie - Angie - Tara - Tracy -

Thanks for joining us and we hope you enjoyed looking at all the lovely Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

I am entering my card into the Copics Creations distressing challenge and St Luke's Charity challenge come fly with me June challenge.

Easel card challenge over at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps!

I hope you enjoyed seeing all the new releases and perhaps won a prize over at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps last week!  Today is the SCRS challenge #47 to make an easel card!

I've only made one of these before but they are pretty easy and great fun to make!  Here is mine...

I kept it pretty simple - when I try to do much embellishing, it always ends up looking messy!  I used Cocktail Emily - isn't she great?  I love my cocktails, especially if it's a Kir Royale!  A perfect birthday image for one of my friends!

Fancy joining in with the fun this week?  You don't need to use a SCRS stamp but if you do you're in for a chance of winning a SCRS stamp!  If you've never made an easel card before, you can find a tutorial here on Splitcoast Stampers that has a very useful template to follow.

As a reminder, Ruby is our featured character this month, so all Ruby stamps are on sale!  Sign up for the newsletter to learn more about Ruby and for exclusive sale coupon.
