Easel card challenge over at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps!

I hope you enjoyed seeing all the new releases and perhaps won a prize over at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps last week!  Today is the SCRS challenge #47 to make an easel card!

I've only made one of these before but they are pretty easy and great fun to make!  Here is mine...

I kept it pretty simple - when I try to do much embellishing, it always ends up looking messy!  I used Cocktail Emily - isn't she great?  I love my cocktails, especially if it's a Kir Royale!  A perfect birthday image for one of my friends!

Fancy joining in with the fun this week?  You don't need to use a SCRS stamp but if you do you're in for a chance of winning a SCRS stamp!  If you've never made an easel card before, you can find a tutorial here on Splitcoast Stampers that has a very useful template to follow.

As a reminder, Ruby is our featured character this month, so all Ruby stamps are on sale!  Sign up for the newsletter to learn more about Ruby and for exclusive sale coupon.

You can see the other gorgeous creations by the DT here - enjoy!

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, My Minds Eye Lime Twist Life of the Party paper pad (from Quixotic Paperie here)
Stamps: SCRS
Cocktail Emily, MFT polka dot die and sentiment stamp set
Mediums: Copics, Colorbox red ink
Accents: celery faux suede ruffle ribbon (from Ladybug Crafts Ink here), 8mm pearl bead (from Quixotic Paperie here), 4mm flat backed pearls (here)
Tools: Corner Chomper,
MFT polka dot die and sentiment stamp set, MFT daisy die and leaf dies
