What a doll!

Over at the La-La Land Crafts blog we're having a colour challenge inspiration week. I went for the green and purple...

This is the gorgeous Paper Doll Marci Hearts stamp with matching sentiment.  I also used the Whimsical Tree die, Cherry Blossom Flowers die and the new and very beautiful Lattice Doily Border die.  The papers are from the Lili of the Valley Timeless Victorian pad.

Sweet penguin pals!

Hi everyone, hope your week has started well.  It's very raining here in the UK and it's got colder - it really does feel like our Autumn has arrived a month early!  Hey ho, what can one do?  Apart from get the Winter woolies out!

So, I'm back today with another quick make using one of the new Lili of the Valley Coloured Art Pads...

I try not to use this layout too much - but I do love it so!  I used papers from the Festive Trimmings pad and the sentiment is from the new Christmas Wishes set.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the holly and berries.

If you like the image but want the stamp, they are already available in the store here.

I'll be back later in the week with some more makes - see you then!

Easy peasy Christmas card!

Quickly popping in with my Lili of the Valley DT card using one of the new Coloured Art Pads that will be available in the store from Thursday...

These new art pads are so gorgeous - again!  This little lady is from the Vintage Christmas set.  I also used papers from the 'Twas the Night pad and the sentiment is from the Christmas Wishes set.  I simply framed the gorgeous using a Memory Box Holly Vine die with some teeny tiny flat backed pearls.

Enjoy the rest of your day and I'll be back very soon with another make using one of the new art pads - ttfn!

Sweet2Repeat blog hop!

(Please scroll down for my La-La Land Crafts inspiration post!)

Yes, it's me again, two posts in one day!  And I'm back for the SugarPea Designs Sweet2Repeat blog hop!

Today all the SugarPeas are showcasing more ways to use the last gorgeous July release - Seaside WishesGreat CatchSpare Me and Twinkle Twinkle.  Here is my DT make using Great Catch...

I can't get enough of this guy - so perfect for my dad who is a keen fisherman!  I love the sentiments in this set too - it makes this set so versatile.  I matched him up with Digital Design Essential papers and My Favorite Things dies to create a simple scene.

Want this set for free?!  Just join our hop and leave a comment at each spot along the way for a chance to win $10 to spend on some SugarPea sweetness of your very own!

I hope you enjoy the hop!  I really am off now but I will be back over the weekend with my Lili of the Valley DT post - ttfn!

Have a sunny day!

Yay, we are back again in the world of the "virtual" living!!  Both our phone line and internet were down and it's taken our providers nearly a week to resolve, which in my mind is bl**dy ridiculous, but what can you do?!  Steve has been a right grumpy chops without it and I've had to put up with his moods - he's so lucky to have a tolerant and patient wife!  But all is well again and we can resume our virtual lives...

So, over at the La-La Land Crafts blog we're having a dots and spots inspiration week.  I immediately thought of yellow poke bikini but it didn't quite make it like that in my final design!  But, it is yellow and it still had polka dots in it...

I love this very sweet Summer Marci and I also used the Random Flags Banner die with the Wheel and Anchor die...

You're so ador-a-bull

Hi everyone!  Doesn't it feel great to be Saturday?  It's been another long week at work - so much to do, so little time!  I hope next week should be calmer so I can do some blog visiting and - more importantly - more crafting!  But I did I find some time to quickly knock up this card using the fab SugarPea Designs Hug-A-Bull set...

I kept this pretty simple as you can see - just a strip of stripey Digital Design Essentials paper, using my dies to frame this adorable image and topped off with a little button.  That's it!

Well I think the weather is starting to turn already - raining all day today here in the South East of England and only 21 degs :(  At least I won't be able to do any gardening today so there's a silver lining!  Ta ta for now and see you again soon!

A beautiful singer

This week over at the La-La Land Crafts blog we're having an anything goes inspiration week - freedom to make whatever we want!  I decided to use the gorgeous Singing Marci with the Berry Flourish and Cherry Blossoms Flower Die...

Copics used:
Face: E000, E00, E21, R20, R22
Hair: Y11, Y13, Y17
Outfit: C01, C03, C05, C07

I love this Marci - she is so beautiful!  I used a Bazzill cardstock with a sheen to it and found some lovely ribbon with a touch of silver running through it.  I also added some glitter glue to her sash and hair band.  I'm going to give this card to my mum - I think she will love it!

Check out more gorgeous DT inspiration over at the blog here.  Have a lovely day and I'll see you again soon!
