You're a gem!

Hello everyone!  I hope you've had a lovely weekend.  I spent mine today for my belated birthday day out with my family at Leeds Castle, which funny enough is nowhere near Leeds.  Still, it's conveniently situated for us and they had a medieval thing going on so there was plenty to see, learn and eat!  A great day out.

I also managed to squeeze in some crafting time this evening and made a thank you card using the brilliant SugarPea Designs Go-pher It stamp set...

I used Echo Park Simple Life papers, layered some die cut grass and used my Darice weaved embossing folder.  I love the sentiments in this set - makes it so versatile.  Take a closer look...

Okay, I am off now - back to work tomorrow so an early start for me tomorrow unfortunately.  I'll be back on Tuesday though with my Whimsie Doodle DT make - see you then!

Winter wishes

Yes, I know we're technically still in our Summer, but, boy, it feels like Autumn here in the UK!  We're already putting the bed blanket on at night and I'm wearing my thermo wellies on the dog walks.  NOT GOOD!  Still, it helps to get you in the mood for making Christmas cards and here is one I made today using those gorgeous new Lili of the Valley goodies...

I just love these new Art Pads - brilliant for creating fast Christmas cards of which I have many, many, many to make!  This little fella with his sweet squirrel friend is from the 'Tis the Season pad and he very conveniently goes well with the Festive Trimmings 8" x 8" paper pad.  All I added was a strip of holly embossed cardstock and some punched snowflakes from DCWV glitter card topped off with sequins for a bit of shimmer.

I'm off to bed now but I'll be back tomorrow with my SugarPea Designs DT post - see you then!

Lili of the Valley reminders!

Hi everyone!  Quickly popping in to let you know that there's still time to join in with this month's Christmas in August challenge over at Lili of the Valley!

Baby it's cold outside

Hi everyone!  I'm here today to share this fun Christmas card...

I love this little guy!  He's from the Brrr stamp set for A Jillian Vance Design and I also used the snowflake stamp from the set too.  I used K and Company papers and created the snowline with some Glossy Accents sprinkled with American Crafts glitter to make it pop.  Here's a look at the whole set...

Isn't it fab?  I love the little outfits and the igloo and the sentiments are so cute!  I can see I'll be making quite a few of my Christmas cards this year using this set!  I'm off now - enjoy the rest of your day!

Gifts on the tree

I'm here today with another Christmas card that only took me 20 minutes to make.  These Lili of the Valley Coloured Art Pads save so much time and that's just what you need to get that conveyor belt of Christmas cards finished!

This image is sooooo adorable and beautifully coloured.  The rubber stamp version called Gifts on the Tree can be found here.  I also used papers from the Festive Trimmings pad and a sentiment from the Christmas Wishes set.  The snowflakes are made using a Martha Stewart punch and I simple topped them off with some white buttons from my stash.

I'll be back tomorrow with my SugarPea Designs DT make - ttfn!

Club La-La Land Crafts - the August kit reveal!

Have you heard about the Club La-La Land Crafts yet?  It's where you pay for a monthly subscription for an EXCLUSIVE kit!  Each month you will receive a surprise package containing an EXCLUSIVE Kit
based on your subscription!  The products (stamps and dies) included in the Club Kits won't be available for purchase outside of the Kits until one year after the release.  There are two kits to choose from and you can check out the differences on this post here.

So today the design team are revealing the August kit - and you're going to be sorry if you didn't sign up for this month's because it is gorgeous!  I've made two cards with the kit and without further ado, here is my first one...

Isn't she beautiful?  She is called Sitting Mermaid Marci and I also used from the kit the Seashell and Rocks and Seaweed Border and Under the Sea die set.  I matched her up with Bo Bunny papers and used my Embossilicious polka dot embossing folder for those bubbles.

Here is my second card...
I love these cute fish and the dies are so gorgeous!  From the kit I used the fishes and sentiment from the Sitting Mermaid Marci stamp set and also the Seaweed Border and Under the Sea die set.   The papers are by KaiserCraft.

These cards were so fun to make and I can't wait to for the next kit to arrive - hurry up September!!

There is more gorgeous August kit inspiration over at the La-La Land Crafts blog here.  I'll be back tomorrow with my SugarPea Designs DT post so see you then!

Happy Sunday everyone!  I'm determined to enjoy today and not let thoughts of work tomorrow get me down!  Last week was so busy and next week looks like to be another packed out week of work, work, work!  But I managed to squeeze in a little crafting and created this birthday card using the fabulous Blow Me Away set by SugarPea Designs...

Super sweet set, don't you think?  And I totally love the font of the sentiments in this set too.  I used papers from the Lili of the Valley Up, Up and Away pad and some little die cut balloons to finish it off.

Okay, I'm off to do a little gardening this morning (groan) and as it's raining this afternoon I'm going to do lots of crafting (yay!).  Ta ta for now!
