Make It Monday sponsored by Digi My World!

Hey, hope you are all enjoying 2012 so far!  It's a Bank Holiday in the UK today and I'm going to make the most of it before going back to work!  It's also Monday so that means a new linky party has opened over at Make It Monday!  And we are kicking it off with a brand new sponsor for us - Digi My World!  Annie is the owner and creator of these wonderful digis!  Here is my card using one of their newbie sets called England...

Now, I'm hoping my niece isn't reading this cos I want to give her this for her birthday in March!  She is just as cute and gorgeous as Annie's teen creations and born in Britain - a perfect match!

I typed up and printed the sentiment - for those who aren't familiar, the phrase "Keep calm and Carry On" was a slogan created by the UK government for posters during World War II.  It's now a trendy phrase to use and I obviously modified it to fit the occasion!

And did you notice - no embellishments!  Hhhmmm, feeling a bit naked but couldn't think of anything else to add to it!!  Any advice most welcome please!

Anyhoo, I hope you get to share your papercraft creations with us this week!  You can see more wonderful DT inspiration over at the Make It Monday blog and you could be in for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to spend in the store!  And they are in sale at the moment so you may want to pay the store a visit!  ;)

Okay, so onto my pick of the week!  I have chosen this brilliant card by Elena of Fantasia d'Inchiostro....

Created by Elena of Fantasia d'Inchiostro

What an original, huh?!  Elena's colouring is fab and love how she did the tic-tac-toe - so clever!  But that Elena is so creative, I wish I could be in her brain sometimes!  Thanks Elena for sharing with us honey!

Okay, that really is it from me today - see you on Wednesday for a very very special Flutter By Wednesday - you do NOT want to miss it!

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Gorgeous & cool card! And it really doesn't need any embellishments.

I think any embellishments would detract from it but if you MUST add something I always put 3 little pearls in a corner or in a row. Just makes me feel better to do it!
