He is so adorable!  I simply matched him up with a touch of red glitter cardstock and used my Quickutz snowflake embossing folder.

There She Goes Henna Swirls Blog Hop Challenge

(Please scroll down for my Bellarific Friday DT post!)

It's the last day of the There She Goes sneak peeks for the September release and today we are showcasing our new designer - Chaitali Narla!  This new set is called Henna Swirls and here is my take with it...

As you can see, I kept it very simple - you don't need much more with such a beautiful design!  I used a Handwritten sentiment with it and finished it off with a touch of mini ric rac.  Voila!

That's it from me today - see you soon!

Limit yourself!

YAY!  OMG, thank goodness it is Friday because it has been a horrible week at work!  It's also Bellarific Friday and this week the theme was monochromatic - limit yourself to one colour!  Here is my simple take on it...

I feel a bit of a cheat - it only took me 20 minutes to make this card and 10 minutes of that was colouring in!  But my next Bellarific Babe card that I'll show this weekend has taken me A LOT longer!

So the next Bellarific Friday is this sketch...

Send your creations to Em by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!  I'll be back later with my There She Goes new release post and it's a very different style for me!  ttfn!

There She Goes No Tricks Only Treats Blog Hop Challenge

It's day two of  the There She Goes Blog Hop Challenges to show off all of the September new release!  Today we are showcasing a new Whimsie Doodle set called No Tricks Only Treats and it's a brilliant set!

Here is my Trendsetter card...

Illustrator Melyssa is so brilliant at creating those interesting faces - I love his quizzical look!  I didn't think he needed much - just an embossed background and a touch of red!

I hope you love this set as much as I do!  I'll be back tomorrow with day three of the new release!

Birthday girl

(Please scroll down for my CC Designs DT review post!)

It's time for a new fortnightly Pollycrafts challenge and this time Jane has set the theme of Birthday Girls - easy peasy!  Here is my DT take on it...

This is one of the gorgeous girly Lil Dumplings called Fleur - I loved colouring in her hair with my Copics!  I matched her up with Digital Design Essentials papers and used a Sizzix butterfly embossing folder for the background.  The flower border is a Doodlebug Paper Frill.

I hope you can play along with us - you have a fortnight to upload your project to the blog here.  I gotta go now but thanks for visiting!

Join the fun!

It's time for a CC Designs September release review and today we are showcasing those fun circus themed stamps in store.  Here is my DT making using Sweet November Ring Master Bailey, Sweet November Ellie and AmyR Stamps Circus Sentiments...

I really like how this card turned out - I didn't really have a plan for it but the My Minds Eye Alphabet Soup collection seemed to dictate to me what to do!

You can check out more fun DT inspiration over at the blog here.  Thanks for visiting and I'll be back later with my Pollycrafts and There She Goes DT posts - a busy, busy day!!

There She Goes Bewitched By You Blog Hop Challenge

It's the start of  the There She Goes Blog Hop Challenges to show off all of the September new release!  Today we are showcasing two new sets - one from Torico called Bewitched By You and a sentiment set called Totally Witchin'.

These are super fun sets!  So much fun that I made two projects to show you today...

So my first project is this treat holder for those yummy lollies!  Isn't she cool - not really scarey - her eyes give away her sweetness inside!  And love the sentiment from the Totally Witchin' set - there are some funny phrases in there!

Here is my second, a card...

That Torico is so talented - so brilliant how she's got her sitting on that broomstick and peeking back over her shoulder!  And I love the bum detail too - cheeky!  That ribbon is a lot darker in real life but just couldn't get it right with Picasa (so annoying!).

I think you'll agree that these are great additions to the There She Goes stamp collection!  I'll be back tomorrow with our second day of the new release!

Hoot hoot hooray!

Hi everyone!  Mary J here popping in to show you a card I've made for my niece who is graduating in November.  I am so proud of her - she got a 2:1 and I know she worked really hard for it - what a gal!  So here is my card for her using Hoot Hooray...

As you can see, I kept it pretty simple.  He's so adorable I didn't think he needed anything else!  Well I am off now but thanks for visiting and I'll see you tomorrow with the start of the There She Goes new September release sneak peeks!

Bon voyage!

Okay, I am back again to share my Bellarific Babe card and today I've created a bon voyage card using Uptown Girl Sunny is Stylish...

I wish I was this stylish!  When we go on holiday in December, we'll be very casual - t-shirts and shorts only required for our beach holiday down under!!  Oh, I just can't wait!

Okay, that really is it from me today - I promise!  I'll be back tomorrow with my Doodlelicious Dive DT post - see you then!

Oh my goodness, I used girly pink!

Hello everyone! Just popping in to share with you a card I made with this very sweet Lili of the Valley girl called Flower Fairy...

She is so so pretty!  I had to colour her in pink and lucky enough she matches the gorgeous Lili of the Valley Perfect Pair papers and I used a sentiment from the Handwritten Phrases set too.  Christine - how impressed are you that I used so much girly pink today?!!

I'm off now - got a bit of a hangover so it's hard to be sociable right now!  I will be back later though with my Bellarific Babe DT post - if I can find my mojo, lol!

Classy ladies have a fun night out

Me again, back with my Bellarific Friday babe card.  This week we had a sketch to follow so here is my card...

I love these fun gals!  This stamp set called Uptown Girls Victoria and Juliette's Night Out and I'd like to imagine I look this good when I'm out with my friends!  I really like how this monochrome card turned out - and paper piecing sure saves time!

Next week's theme is also mono!  Send your creations to Em by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!

That really is it from me today.  I will see you later on my blog rounds - ttfn!

Wheeee!

Happy Sunday everyone!  I must apologise for not visiting you this week - I thought work would quieten down but it's got me doing looooong hours and then I have to squeeze in my DT commitments every spare moment!

Anyhoo, today I have my Lili of the Valley DT card to show you...

OMG, how cute is James the Bear?!!  I love this fun sweetie pie called Snow Angel.  I tried matching him up with design papers but I just couldn't make it work and ended up with this very simple style - but I love how it turned out!

The sentiment is from the LOTV Christmas Handwritten Phrases and I used a polka dot embossing folder to add some interest.

Check out all of the gorgeous new Christmas release stamps here in the store.  Thanks for visiting and I promise to visit this week!
