Alicia Bel's very first challenge!

(Please scroll down for my SugarPea Designs
and La-La Land Crafts DT posts!)

It's the start of the Alicia Bel challenges and to make it as easy peasy as possible for you, the theme is ANYTHING GOES!  So no excuse not to join in, lol!  Here is my DT using the cool Melanie At The Gym...

Isn't she cool?  And I loved colouring her in too.  I thought this would be a good encouragement card for my friend who is on a mission to lose a lot of weight and she's doing really well so far.

I think the papers are by Digital Design Essentials and I used my Craft Concepts star embossing folder, topped off with a Lil' Inker Designs die cut heart with a lickle ickle button!

I hope you can join in with our challenge for a chance to win an Alicia Bel digi.  You can get all the deets and more gorgeous DT inspiration over at the blog here.

Thanks for visiting and I'll see you on my blog rounds later today - ttfn!

Christmas doggie love!

Hi everyone!  It's Mary J here with a Christmas card using one of my all time favourite animals - a dog!  I love the Whimsie Doodles animals - very cute and this Winter Dog is one of the cutest!

Oh I love him!  I used K & Company papers, A candy cane Cuttlebug embossing folder, a Lil' Inker Designs sentiment and a Paper Smooches bone die.

You can buy this little guy on his own or in the Christmas December Collection with 12 other cute and fabulous digis.  I've got the set so you'll be seeing more from this collection over the coming weeks.

Thanks for visiting and don't forget we have a DT call on at the moment - I hope you'll apply!

You are outta this world!

Hi everyone, I hope your week is going well.  Mine is a bit quieter than the past few weeks so I managed to create a card last night - yay!  So here is a card I made for a little boy's birthday using some adorable Whimsie Doodles digis...

Ain't that little fella the cutest?!!  Whenever I look at him, I just wanna say "wheeee!".  He's from the Space Cadets set and the background is from the Background Borders Places set.  I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug folder and used some metallic cardstock to create the porthole.  And I even got to use up some of the hundreds of eyelets in my stash!

There is still plenty of time to join in this month's challenge of Kinda Spooky.  You don't have to use a WD image but we love it when you do!  I hope you can join us for a chance to win a digi of your choice or even get to be a Guest Artist if you do use a WD image!

Thank you for visiting and I will back on Friday with my La-La Land Crafts DT post and also a special announcement!

Would a cookie help?

Hello everyone!  I'm here today to show you a card I made using one of the new stamp sets called Miss Adventure: Tea with Abby now available in the A Jillian Vance Design store.

Isn't she a beauty?  And I love the sentiments that come with this set!  I used a strip of paper from the My Minds Eye Notable collection and dry embossed some white cardstock using my Cuttlebug houndstooth folder.  I finished it off with some twine and a wee little flower for some extra cuteness!

Thanks for visiting and hope to see you again soon - ttfn!

Hey Gill Friend

A very happy Tuesday to you all!  I hope you all enjoyed a lovely long Easter weekend and not long now (here in the UK anyway!) for another long weekend!

So I'm here today with another Doodlelicious Diva make using the new clear Seas the Day stamp set that you can buy from the A Jillian Vance Design store...

I love this cutie - just look at those plump lips!  And the font in this set is just brilliant - whimsical yet fun!  I matched him up with Bo Bunny Barefoot and Bliss papers and my Cuttlebug bubble embossing folder for interest.

I hope you like him as much as I do!  I'm off now but will be back soon - ttfn!

U R GR8

I'm here today to show you a card I made for a teenager, of course, trying to speak the same language as her!

This is Social Teen Texting - isn't she cool?!  I followed through on the design with the pretty flower in her hair and used Doodlebug rub-on letters for the sentiment.

I'm afraid it's short and sweet today - it's really hard to type with a bandaged thumb!

Lili of the Valley new January release

It's time for another Lili of the Valley design team blog hop and today we’re celebrating our first launch of 2014 newbies!  There are 10 adorable new stamps in the set featuring James the Bear, Jack, Patch and Puss.

The stamps will be available to buy on the website from midday GMT on Monday 13 January and from the shop in Leeds this Saturday.

Don't forget to hop along as there are hidden prizes along the way!  The winners will be announced on Monday morning.

2 lucky winners will each get all 10 new designs!

So here is my DT card using the very sweet James Peeping...

Oh, he is so darn cute!!!  I coloured him in with my Prismacolor pencils and used my Cuttlebug woodgrain embossing folder for the background and just a touch of patterned paper from my stash to give some interest.
You should have reached here fro the lovely Lou and you now need to hop along to marvellous Mindy.  If you've only just joined the hop, you can start from the Ideas to Inspire blog and get all the deets on how to win!
Enjoy the hop and I'll be back later with my Bellarific Friday babe post - ttfn!

Just taking my birdie for a walk...

Waking up on a Friday morning is such a great feeling!  Not long and the weekend can start!  And it also means it's Bellarific Friday again and this week we had a sketch to follow.  Here's my Bellarific Babe take on it...

I used an Amariah Rauscher stamp - her girls are so cute!  The stamp I used isn't in the store but there is a Christmas version called Mister Penguin Goes For a Ride - and it's just as cute!  I used Lili of the Valley Always and Forever papers and some twine for interest.

Next week's Bellarific Friday is to get some inspiration from this photo...

Send your creations to Em by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!

Happy holidays

Me again, popping in with my Bellarific Babe card using the very sweet Ramona Loves to Glide stamp...

I really liked how this card came out - really different from what I originally imagined though!  I used a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and Lili of the Valley Winter Wishes paper.  I used a Martha Stewart snowflake punch.

Enjoy the rest of your evening and thanks for visiting!

Brrr, it's getting chilly

Hi everyone!  I'm here with a Whimsie Doodle make using one of those new cutie pies in store!  Here is my Doodlelicious Diva make...

I love this Ugg Leah - such a fab name and of course she's not in the least ugly!  And I love her coat - I think Melyssa should start her own fashion line!  I matched her up with Zoe Pearn papers and a sweet button with a touch of natural twine.

I'm off now to do some gardening (grumble...grumble...) but will be back soon with another Doodlelicious Diva make!

Fairies in your stocking

The sun is out so I am a happy bunny today!  And it's also Sunday morning so a whole day of no work to look forward to!  Anyhoo, here I am today with my Lili of the Valley DT card using the really sweet Fairies in Stocking...

How cute can you get?!  I originally planned to add a lot more to this card, but after some experimenting I felt it just didn't need it.

I have another LOTV card half made so I hope to be back later to share that with you - ttfn!

What can you do with static hair?!

It's also Bellarific Friday and this week we had a sketch to follow.  Here is my take on it...

This very sweet stamp is called Angelina by Mo Manning - what a very cute face and brilliant static hair!  I used Lili of the Valley Perfect Pair papers and a Cuttlebug polka dot embossing folder.

So the next Bellarific Friday is stitching.  Send your creations to Em by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!  I'm hoping to get some blogging done tonight so hopefully see you on my blog round!
