Hope your birthday's picture perfect

Hi all.  I'm sorry I haven't been around for a while nor even visiting you, but we had a personal tragedy which has left us reeling somewhat.  I'll do a separate post on that as I didn't want to make this post a downer!  I managed to make a card last night to distract myself and came up with this using some of the new SugarPea Designs goodies...

I love this stamp set called Picture Perfect - she is a beautiful gal!  I also used the SugarCuts Polaroid dies and added the smile stamp from the Wanderlust stamp set.

Day 3 of sneak peeks of the SugarPea Designs March release!

Okay, we are into day three of the SugarPea Designs new release for March  and today we are showing the new stamp set called Hot Diggity Dog and SugarCuts Homescape die.  Here's what I created with them...

Adorable little dog, huh?!  And the other dogs in this set are adorable too!  And I really love the  SugarCuts Homescape die - so many uses for this!  I stamped the sentiment on the fish tail flag die from the SugarCuts Gift Tag die set.  I think this could be used for a congratulations or new home card - such a versatile stamp set!

Ready for Spring?

The theme over at La-La Land Crafts blog this week is Ready for Spring.  And as we all know, Spring means showers!  So here is my DT take on it...

Yep, those macs are needed to keep the rain off!  I love making shaker cards although the sequins get really static and stick to me - which I find very annoying!  But, hey, I love how this one turned out so it was worth it!  I used papers by My Minds Eye.

Green hair - really?!

It felt really weird not using normal hair colour but I think it came out ok!  The papers are by My Minds Eye and I used some little pearls for interest.

New Alicia Bel challenge - Christmas!

It's the start of a new Alicia Bel monthly challenge and the theme is ... wait for it...CHRISTMAS!  So get your skates on and finish off the stack of cards you need to make before final posting dates!  Here is my DT using the beautiful Xmas Faery...

What a gorgeous faery, huh?  I love her little outfit!  I matched her up with My Minds Eye papers, a Simon Says Stamp vent die and a My Favorite Things snowflake die topped off with a lickle ickle red button!  The sentiment is a Paper Smooches die.

Pretty as a picture!

Have you seen the Club La-La Land Crafts kit for November yet?  It's a real cutie and today the team are showcasing some more projects using it.  I've made two cards...

Isn't she a cutie?!  I totally love the all of the camera and accessories dies and that smile sentiment die is gorgeous!  I used My Minds Eye papers and I framed a piece of the patterned paper showing South America - I want to make a trip there next year so I just had to use it!

I used the camera dies again in this one plus the border die along the top and one of the sentiments.  The papers are by NitWit Collections called Tour of London.  Of course I would never tour London that as I work there and can't wait to get away from it every day!  But I can see why it is so popular as it is a fantastic city with so many things to do.
