If mamma ain't happy...

There's a new Naughty or Nice challenge starting today and the theme is For The Ladies.  Here's my DT card for one of my good friends...

I don't know which good friend to give it to yet though - they all love wine and will all love that sentiment!  I used Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Opal the Optimist with the sentiment is from a There She Goes set (no longer available, sorry!), finished off with some sequins for some sparkle!

Check out more naughty or nice inspiration over at the blog here - hope you can join us this month!

Onesie love!

It's Bellarific Friday and this week we had a sketch to follow so here is my Bellarific Babe card take on it...

This is Uptown Girl Brynn and Her Baby Shower and I used Echo Park Bundle of Joy papers and a Sizzix heart embossing folder.  I think I went a bit over the top with the shading - went a bit too heavy handed with the pen!

The next Bellarific Friday is to be inspired by the photo below...

Deep in thought...

(Please scroll down for my Lili of the Valley blog hop post
for a chance to win prizes!)

It's Bellarific Friday!  And Em has also decided to release the new Stamping Bella stamps today too so no more waiting to get your hands on these gorgeous goodies in the store later today!   So I decided to combine my DT make today with one of the newbies and this week's Bellarific Friday theme to use ribbon or washi tape...

Some of you may be thinking "hang on, I've seen this before!".  Well you'd be right and you'd be wrong, lol!  I used the wrong image so have now used the correct image plus I added a ribbon!  I also used BasicGrey papers and My Favorite Things rolled flower die.

So, check out the rest of the gorgeous DT inspiration over at Bloggabella.  The next Bellarific Friday is this sketch...

A glamorous Stamping Bella sneak peek!

Did you see that Stamping Bella has a new release out on 24 February?  It's a huge one - they are full of cuteness, glamour and fun!  Check out the sneak peeks over at Bloggabella.  Today I am snowing you a sneak peek filled with glamour - meet Marcelle Masquerade...

Somebody make me that dress!!  So beautiful - perfect for one of my glamorous city girlfriends!  I matched her up with Eiffel Tower patterned papers from the Carta Bella Paris Girl collection, generously sprinkled with Glamour Dust and topped off with a silver bow.  Here's a closer look at the bling...

Oh la la!  Now just to get my husband to take me somewhere suitable to wear it!  I bet you can't wait to get your hands on this baby - only a week to wait now!

Come sunshine or rain....

Well I wish we had some sunshine but we're still putting up with a ton of rain!  So for my Bellarific Friday DT make today, I thought I'd make this card using the sketch we had for inspiration...

Of course, I had to use Uptown Girl Lolly and her Brolly - nothing more appropriate for the UK at the moment!  I used Bo Bunny papers and coloured in some white Doodlebug flower paper trim with my Copics to match the yellow in her raincoat.  The sentiment is from the Lili of the Valley Scroll Sentiments set.  You can't see it very well from the photo but I used Stickles glitter glue on her clothes trim.

Okay, the next challenge is to use washi tape or ribbon so get your creations to Em by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!

Enjoy the rain!

Hey all!  It's Bellarific Friday and this week we had a sketch to follow.  Here is my DT make...

This is Lolly and her Brolly - another brilliant Uptown Girl!  I thought it only appropriate to make a card with a rain theme as that is all we seem to be getting here in the UK!  But I also wanted it to be cheery card so I used Doodlebug papers and some sweet daisies.

Okay, the next theme is to get inspired by this photo...

Bellarific Friday is here!

It's  Bellarific Friday and this week we had the theme of "friends".  Here is my take on it...

I used the beautiful Uptown Girl Pippa Loves to Plant.  This stamp has definitely NOT been made for me - I hate gardening!  But many of my family members and friends do so it always comes in handy.

So next week we have a sketch to follow so send your creations to Em by next Thursday.  Check out all the deets over at the blog here.

I'm off but I'll be back soon with my Lili of the Valley DT post - ttfn!

A sympathy card

Gosh, where does the time go nowadays?!  It seems like it was only Bellarific Friday yesterday and it's come around again!  So this week we had a sketch to follow and here is my take on it...

This is a sympathy card as my husband's cousin died recently so no cuteness from me today.  This beautiful flower is called Rose with a Hearty Centre and I used BasicGrey papers and a sentiment is from the Lili of the Valley Handwritten Phrases set.

Next week's Bellarific Friday is "friends" - I can feel an Uptown Girl stamp coming out for that!  Send your creations to Em by next Thursday.

I gotta go now but I'll be back this weekend with my Lili of the Valley DT post - ttfn!

Party time!

(Please scroll down for my Lili of the Valley blog hop post!)

It's Bellarific Friday this week's theme was to be inspired by a photo so here is my take on it...

I was inspired by the pink, red, circles and party theme so I just had to make a birthday card!  I used Uptown Girl's Victoria and Juliette's Night Out matched up with some Echo Park papers.  It makes me wanna have a glass of wine, but best not as it's only the morning still!

The next Bellarific Friday theme is to be inspired by this sketch...

Send your creations to Em by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.  Check out all the deets over at the blog here.  Have a lovely day and I'll see you again soon!

Starting off the year with a big thank you!

Hello everyone! Yes, I am back!  We had a fantastic time in Australia, travelling from Sydney to Brisbane through December.  As I had hoped, we had a BBQ of steaks and huge prawns on the beach in the warm (31 degs!) sun - it was the most stress-free Christmas ever!  We've been back for five days now but still struggling with the jet lag - wide awake at 3am and nodding off at 3pm!

If you haven't been before, you really should visit Australia.  The people are so friendly, welcoming and respectful.  The scenery is amazing and so easy to drive around with such little traffic!  Steve was also very pleased that his fear of getting bitten, eaten or poisoned by the native animals didn't come true, lol!

Anyhoo, here is my first card of 2014 and it's a thank you card for my in-laws for all of our lovely Christmas pressies.  As this week the theme was anything goes for Bellarific Friday, I used Stamping Bella Lulu's Morning Fix...

This is so perfect for my MIL - it's just like her first thing in the morning on a Sunday - a cup of tea in one hand, sitting in her morning gown and doing the weekly phone calls to the family members!

The next Bellarific Friday theme is to be inspired by this photo...

Send your creations to Em by next Thursday to get showcased next week on Bloggabella and a chance to win some Bella Bucks!

I'll be back tomorrow with my Lili of the Valley post and I'll be back to doing my usual blog rounds to visit you all too.  ttfn!

Bellarific Friday time!

Please scroll down for my There She Goes and
Lili of the Valley posts (there are prizes to be won!)

It's Bellarific Friday!  Here is my card using the dragonflies are from the Em's Lantern Flowers set...

I just love those delicate little things and how they add a touch of elegance.  I used Prima paper and my Stampin' Up embossing folder for some texture.

Next week's Bellarific Friday is the theme of winter - yep, I need to get another Christmas card made so I'm up for that!

Wine bottle tag for my MIL

Yes, here I am again today!  Nothing all week, then three posts in one day - whew!  I'm here now with my Bellarific Friday creation and this week we had a photo to get inspiration from.  I went for some of the colours and made this wine bottle tag that is going to my MIL...

The photo isn't very good but it looks fab on the wine bottle!  I used Em's Lantern Flowers and the Eclectic Mini Checker stamp for some texture in the background.  I finished it off with some simple ribbon and a bow.

The next Bellarific Friday is this sketch...

Send your creations to Em by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!  I'm off now but I'll be back tomorrow - ttfn!

Just taking my birdie for a walk...

Waking up on a Friday morning is such a great feeling!  Not long and the weekend can start!  And it also means it's Bellarific Friday again and this week we had a sketch to follow.  Here's my Bellarific Babe take on it...

I used an Amariah Rauscher stamp - her girls are so cute!  The stamp I used isn't in the store but there is a Christmas version called Mister Penguin Goes For a Ride - and it's just as cute!  I used Lili of the Valley Always and Forever papers and some twine for interest.

Next week's Bellarific Friday is to get some inspiration from this photo...

Happy holidays

Me again, popping in with my Bellarific Babe card using the very sweet Ramona Loves to Glide stamp...

I really liked how this card came out - really different from what I originally imagined though!  I used a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and Lili of the Valley Winter Wishes paper.  I used a Martha Stewart snowflake punch.

Enjoy the rest of your evening and thanks for visiting!
