You are dino-mite!

I'm here today to share some goodies I used from the Quixotic Paperie store!  I made this card using one of the super sweet characters from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Cute-a-saurus...

I stamped him on Make It Colour Blending card and created the bed leaves using MFT Die-Namics - Vine Border and I stamped the matching sentiment from the set using Fishtail Flags stax.

I'm off now - thanks for stopping by and I'll see you soon with another Quixotic Paperie make soon!

New challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie!

Happy Saturday everyone!  This week's new Kraftin' Kimmies challenge is food and drink so here is my guest designer card using cool and sophisticated Sophia...

I wanted to keep the style cool and modern too as this is going to one of my city girl friends.  I used my swiss dots embossing folder for interest and papers from an old K and Company paper pad.  The sentiment comes with the stamp and I also used my Lil' Inker Designs Of the Heart Dies too.  You can see more stunning DT inspiration over at the Kraftin' Kimmies challenge blog.

Have a fab weekend and see you later on my blog rounds!

Kraftin' Kimmie's create your own background

Some exciting news - I am this month's guest designer for Kraftin' Kimmies!  A whole month to play with these sweet fun stamps!  So my first GD post is for this week's new Kraftin' Kimmies challenge which is to create your own background.  I am so used to my design papers that I was a bit stumped for this!  But this is what I ended up with...

So what did I do?  I used my die cuts!  First I used the Lil' Inker Designs stitched mat to pierce the edges  then I used the MFT Die-Namics - Chevron Stripes die by layering up the thin chevron onto the thicker one.  Simple but I like it!

Oh and how about that cute dalmatian?!  He is from the Kraftin Kimmies' Canine Capers 1 set and so is the matching sentiment.  I'm really pleased with how this card turned out - I've already given it to my brother-in-law as a thank you for looking after Lulu and Poppy (our dogs!) while we were on holiday.

Check out more inspiration over at the Kraftin' Kimmies challenge blog and join in the challenge to win a fabby prize!

Spooky goings on over at Quixotic Paperie!

Boo!  I mean, hello!  Here today to show you my DT project that I posted earlier in the week over at Quixotic Inspirations for our of Halloween inspiration of spooky stash at Quixotic Paperie!  So, today I am showing you what I did with the Make It Crafty Shadow Box Circle Frame kit...

This was so much fun to make!  I am going to put it on a shelf in my porch on Halloween night to welcome those little ones coming round trick or treating!!  Okay, so what did it take to make this?  Ain't that scarey gal a lot of fun?!  This is Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Mitzi the Mummy who I stamped on Make It Color Blending Card (my fave to use with my Copic markers!).

For the base, I used Black Soot Distress Ink and then I sprayed Ranger Adirondack Colour Wash Spray in Lettuce for a gooey sheen!  Paper-wise, I used the Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor pad and of course I used lots of My Favorite Things Die-Namics...

Okay, that is it from me today - I hope you liked my scarey project!  Don't forget to see this post here to be in for a chance to win the prize giveaway!!

What a mad, crazy, wonderful idea!

Hi all!  I hope everyone has been enjoying the unseasonably fabulous weather we have been having recently (well, it's been good in the UK!).  YAY!! I'm in a good mood today!  Today I'm here with a card using one of the new Gorjuss stamps, called Alice from the gorgeous Quixotic Inspirations store...

Isn't she just lovely?  I just had to do some more colouring on Bazzill Basics Smoothies kraft cardstock and this time I used a mixture of Copics and Prismacolor pencils to try for a whimsical soft look.  I matched her up with papers from the Glitz Design French Kiss pad and the sentiment is from the Kraftin' Kimmie Alice Dormouse stamp set.  Lastly, I kept the embellishing to a minimum by using the Whimsy Shapeology Banner Pennants die set.  Here's a close up of the colouring...

That's it from me today!  Have a fabulous weekend and thanks for visiting and leaving me your sweet sweet comments!

Cheers to you!

Happy Friday everyone!I'm  here with a classy card suitable for all my sophisticated work mates!

This is such a cool gal - this is Kraftin Kimmie's Everyday Girls Sophia and she comes with two matching sentiments (including the one on the front of my card).  I used my trusty Bazzill Basics Kraft cardstock with papers from the Cosmo Cricket Upcycle pad.  For my embellishments, I used Marianne D Creatables Chinese Rose dies (currently with 25% off in the sale!) with 10mm pearl beads.

I used this month's Quixotic Inspirations sketch again, using the basic layout but with a square cardbase instead - it's not cheating, honest guv!!  You can still play along until 13 February for a chance to win a £15 prize!  Link your projects up here!

That's it from me today except to tell you [very excitedly] that the new Stamping Bella's Uptown Girls, Some Odd Girl stamps and My Minds Eye 6x6 pads are in stock now!  Check out all the new products here!
