Guest Designer over at Pairie Fairie Fridays!

I won over at Prairie Fairy Fridays the other week and one of my prizes was to be a guest designer - woo hoo! So here is my card for this week's challenge which is...

No Black Lines!

Blimey, I found this really hard! I had been wanting to try this technique for some time but now I've done it, I think I will stick to nice solid lines! So here is my card but I don't like it very much!

What I do like are these Prairy Fairy Designs images by Roberta Laliberte - they are so whimsically sweet! I loved playing with this little gal and I can't wait to play with more of them! I matched this sweetie called Birthday Gilly with Happy Birthday to You papers by Papermania and Quickutz balloon dies.

Here's a close up of my no lines colouring...

That's it from me - a big thanks to the lovely Roberta and team for having me today! You can see more Prairy Fairy Designs gorgossity by the design team over at the challenge blog here!

Make It Monday sponsored by Di's Digi

The new linky party has opened over at Make It Monday!  This week we are sponsored by the lovely Di over at Di's Digi Downloads and here is my make using her gorgeous sweet Sitting Fairy...

I matched this little sweetie with papers from Papermania's Tatty Teddy's Especially For You paper pack with lots and lots of Glamour Dust.  And do you like that ribbon?  It is by Stampin Up and I got a metre of each colour in a ribbon share from Nic the Sticky Elf - a very inexpensive way to try and buy!

Okay, so here is a little background from our wonderful sponsor Di...

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.  This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Di is generously offering the winner 5 digis of their choice!

Onto my choice from last week's entrants, I have chosen this very clever make by Deb of betty-do's designs who used this pocket from an old pair of jeans...

Created by Deb of betty-do's designs
And I love how she's made it feminine with the pink and soft flowers - just beautiful!  Thx for sharing with us Deb!!
