Star crazy!

Hi everyone and a happy Saturday to you! I'm here today with a card using gorgeous Quixotic Paperie goodies for a guy - either a birthday or a congrats one, can't make up my mind which way it's going to go yet!

Yeah, I went a bit crazy with the stars on this one - I only meant to put five or six on, but it kept building up!  I like it though, it really POPS!  I've used more of the brilliant My Favorite Things Dies-Namics in store - here's what I used...

And I love that sentiment - it's from the Whimsy Party Mini Letter Seals set and the papers are from the My Mind's Eye Sweetest Thing Bluebell paper pad.  I used this week's fab My Favorite Things sketch.

Before I go, just wanted to remind you that there are bargains to be had in store - Belles 'n Whistles and Victoria Case for SCACD are both currently 40% off!

Have a lovely weekend and I'll see you on my blog rounds later!

What fabulous news!!

Did you know that the lovely Elaine, owner of Quixotic Paperie is now stocking My Favorite Things Die-namics?  I luuuuurve my MFT goodies so in celebration, I made this summery card (inspired by the sun we've had this week in the UK!)...

I used the beautiful Simply Betty Water Fun Rio with papers from the Echo Park - Splash Collection Kit.  The sentiment is from the Whimsy Party Mini Letter Seals set which I stamped on the MFT Die-Namics - Fishtail Flags STAX.  Other MFT goodies I used were the Flat Bottom Clouds die, Notched Border die and the Wonky Scallop Border die.

Please don't ask which is my most fave of the MFT dies - they are all so fab!  You can see the rest of the new MFT Die-namics here - but you'd better hurry cos I've already put most of them in my shopping basket!

Okay, I am off now - see you later on my blogging rounds!

Mad For Markers over at Make It Monday!

Hello everyone and welcome to a new week of Make It Monday where we just want you to share your creativity!  This week we are being sponsord by Mad For Markers so I decided to use a Kenny K image that I just love colouring in...

I bet you're now singing that Cyndi Lauper song!!  Yes, I know I keep using Download Diva (you can get the stamp from Quixotic Paperie here) - I promise to use a different KK soon!  I matched her up with those gorgeous DPs from the new My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Out of the Blue paper pad - quite a manly pad but thought they go well with this cutie's jeans.

I'm very excited by the prize Mad For Markers is giving away this week - a hair and skin colouring guide book  for Copics!  OMG, I wish I wasn't on the DT now - I want a chance to win this!!!

The book has pages (A6 size) with the faces shown on the cover printed inside .. on each page one is coloured and tells which markers were used and the other is black and white.. free for you to colour/ practise on! They are printed on Xpress IT blending card and will be available to purchase through the webstore by this Friday for $5. Coming soon is a sequel on colouring people (clothes)!

I bet you'd love the chance of winning this!!  Well, the more commenting you do on other entrants' posts, the more chance you have - get commenting!!  Or of course you can just enter the MIM linky party for a chance to get showcased next week - sweet!

Have a super Monday everyone - hope it's a good start to the week!
