Ladybug Crafts Ink new release blog hop!

Ladybug Crafts Ink has a new release and to celebrate they are having a blog hop that starts today! The lovely Kerry invited me to do a guest designer spot and I said yes!  There are 6 new images in the set which is called Snowman Delight and they are £1.75 each (what a bargain!).

So here is my make using Let It Snow...

Aren't they fun?  I used lots of glitter on the blue scarves and hat and lots of Fluffy Stuff.  I also used My Minds Eye 12 Days, a Pink Petticoat sentiment and my Martha Stewart ornament border punch.  The DT all used this week's fortnightly challenge which is this yummy photo...

The challenge and hop runs for 2 weeks and ends Monday 24th Sept at 12pm UK.  You have to comment on every post along the way and then leave a comment on the Challenge blog telling us which image is your favourite. Winners will be chosen at random as long as they have commented on all post.

The overall winner of the hop will receive all 6 images and there will be 5 winners of 1 image each. Of course there will be the usual Challenge Winner- Winner using an LCI image and Top 3.

You should have arrive here from the lovely Diane and now you need to hop off to the sweet Jane.  If you've just joined the hop you can start here with the gorgeous Julie.  You can get all the deets over at the blog here!

Make It Monday sponsored by Ladybug Crafts Ink!

A new linky party has opened over at Make It Monday!  This week we are being sponsored by the lovely, talented Kerry of Ladybug Crafts Ink!  I am loving her new Teenage digis so for my make, I used Jess Coat of Paint...

I matched her up with Cosmo Cricket The Boyfriend papers and some freebie denim digi papers (sorry, don't know who by!).  I hope you can join us this week - Kerry is giving away a £10 voucher to to the lucky random winner to spend in store!

So onto my pick of the week!  As I didn't do one last week, I've chosen two this week.  The first is by Arielle of Snappy Stampin' w/Arielle with this lovely fresh card - I love how she used the space and touch of blue...

Created by Arielle of Snappy Stampin' w/Arielle

My second pick is by Bettina of Bettands Hobbykrok with this sweet, feminine make - I love how she used did her layering, very clever...

New release over at Ladybug Crafts Ink!

I was thrilled that the lovely Kerry of Ladybug Crafts Ink asked me to do a guest designer spot to showcase one of the new teenage digis! Every day one member of the DT will "reveal" their images and projects  here on the challenge blog as well as their own blogs. There is a prize on offer every day of ONE of the images showcased that day. All you have to do is leave a comment on the challenge blog here.

At the end of the fortnight we will also have a BIG PRIZE of a £15 Voucher to spend at Ladybug Crafts Ink!  Today is my day to showcase a new image so here is my card using Texting...

Isn't he fab - he looks like a young Gerard Depardieu, don't cha think?!  The other images are totally fab too - there are teenage girl images as well as more teenage boys - perfect for this age group!

That's it from me today - thanks for visiting and see you all again soon!

Make It Monday sponsored by Meljen Designs!

Phew!  Last week was hard - work made it seem to last a month and next week doesn't look good either!  So apologies to you all now that I'm not getting around to see you as much as I usually do - believe me when I say I'd rather blog than work!!

This week over at Make It Monday we have another fab new sponsor for 2012 - Meljen Designs Digital Stamps!  I love their whimsical and sweet makes so it's great to have an excuse to use the numerous digis I own by them!  Today I used Meljen Design's Over The Moon...

Oh, I just loved playing with this sweetie!  It is just perfect for a baby card, don't cha think?  I used a lovely sentiment from Ladybug Crafts Ink's Baby Baby clear stamp set (it's currently half price, so I would get over there and get this sweet set!) and the paper inside is from the October Afternoon Seaside collection.  The base is a Grand Nestabilities scallop cirle die - I am so in love with my Grand Nesties at the moment!  I usually make my fave 4.5" x 4.5" cards but I've run out of envelopes to fit these so I'm trying to make smaller cards for my smaller envelope stock!

Anyhoo, I hope you can join us this week - you know how much we LOVE to see your projects!  Each week, I'm always overwhelmed by how talented you all are!  I definitely find inspiration every week from you!  And if you do join us this week, you can win your very own Meljen Designs digi!

Meljen Designs Digital Stamps are giving away the lovely prize of the winner's choice of 4 single digis!

Okay, so for my pick of the week, I chose this beautiful creation by of Simply Paper Crafts....

Isn't it wonderful how she has used the colours and love the layout with the simple stamping - just lovely!  Thanks for sharing with us !

Make It Monday sponsored by Pollycrafts!

Before we open the party, a big WELCOME to Karen of Krafty Karen's blogspot {waves}, our newest DT member!!  Karen is extremely talented so it's fab to have her on the team and you will definitely want to go visit her to see her gorgeous creations!

Okay, the new linky party has opened over at Make It Monday - come along and share your creativity!  This week we are being sponsored by Pollycrafts so I have used a Pollycrafts' Lilybean Fairy called Clover Butterfly Wishes....

Isn't she sweet and gorgeous?!  I matched her up with My Minds Eye Vanity Fair papers with a little bit of shabby chic distressing and flowers.

The wonderful Paula owns Pollycrafts, the home of fun, original hand drawn images for use in your crafting projects and is offering the winner 5 single digis of their choice!  And if you can't wait to see if you've won, there are some fantastic bundle deals you can find here!

Okay, so onto my pick of last week's entries!  I have chosen this gorgossity by Helen of Molecraft...

It is just pure coincidence that she has used a Pollycraft image too!  I love this because of the fab colours, the use of the papers with the corners and how she has used the silver for the sentiment - just lifts the whole card!  Thx for sharing with us Helen!

Sad news and a new LCI release!

There's a new Ladybug Crafts Ink digi stamp release called Love & Marriage so the team are celebrating with a blog hop and there are surprise goodies to win along the way! And as it's also Totally Ladybug Tuesday, this week's challenge is...

    Love and Marriage/anything goes!

Here is my make using the yummy Wedding Cake...

Isn't it lovely? I used papers from the Bo Bunny Love Bandit collection, added touches of Glamour Dust on the icing and used some wired pink pom pom ribbon to add some interest to the border (you can buy from LCI shop here). The digi images are £1.75 each or you can buy the whole collection for £9 - see them in the digi section here.

So I mentioned prizes! The rules are as follows:
    1. Display the above badge somewhere on your blog
    2. Leave a comment on each blog along the hop telling us what you think
    3. Leave a comment on the Challenge Blog HERE telling us which is your favourite image and why
    4. Some of the Ladybugs have generouly offered some candy from their own stash. One lucky commenter from that Ladybugs blog will win that prize!
The overall winner will receive THE WHOLE NEW COLLECTION and 5 runners up will receive 1 image of their choice!

If you're joining us on the hop, you should have come here from the lovely Pam and you now need to hop to the mega talented Amanda! And don't forget to comment on all of the DT posts for a chance to win surprise candy!

Onto my sad news. Ladybug Crafts Ink was one of the first design teams I joined and have been with them for 14 months but I've decided to step down from the team. So this is my last week {sad face}. I will miss the lovely team so much - many thanks to them for their friendship and laughter - you are a fantastic bunch of ladies!

Guest Designer over at Pairie Fairie Fridays!

I won over at Prairie Fairy Fridays the other week and one of my prizes was to be a guest designer - woo hoo! So here is my card for this week's challenge which is...

    No Black Lines!

Blimey, I found this really hard! I had been wanting to try this technique for some time but now I've done it, I think I will stick to nice solid lines! So here is my card but I don't like it very much!

What I do like are these Prairy Fairy Designs images by Roberta Laliberte - they are so whimsically sweet! I loved playing with this little gal and I can't wait to play with more of them! I matched this sweetie called Birthday Gilly with Happy Birthday to You papers by Papermania and Quickutz balloon dies.

Here's a close up of my no lines colouring...

That's it from me - a big thanks to the lovely Roberta and team for having me today! You can see more Prairy Fairy Designs gorgossity by the design team over at the challenge blog here!

Not a card but the MOBO's!

Not a card but just to share some piccies from the MOBO Awards in Glasgow!  We had a table and I invited my DT boss Kerry of Ladybug Crafts Ink as she lives up there.  This was the first time we have met face to face and she is exactly as I imaged her - gorgeous and fabulous company!  She is 5' 8" and looks like a model!  I'm only 5' 2" so she towered over me - thank goodness for high heels to shorten the gap!

I had travelled up from East Sussex (south east corner of England) early in the morning (4am wake up call!), had a day of meetings and then back to the hotel to dolly up for the MOBO's.  I was pretty tired by the time we reach the venue but I managed to walk down the red carpet without a wobble!

The photos aren't great as we weren't allowed cameras into the venue so this is the best my Blackberry camera could do!

Some of our table guests in the pre-show champagne drinks - I'm on the far right

         Kerry and me!

My lovely colleague and friend Carolyn and her sister Claire

My boss Ruby with Fazer and from N'Dubz!

Alesha Dixon in the yellow dress waiting to go on stage to present!

Really rubbish photo of Jessy J!  (I think!!)

Well, that's it from me today - back tomorrow to showcase some yummy Quixotic Paperie goodies!!

No design papers over at Totally Ladybug Tuesday!

This week over at Totally Ladybug Tuesday, the lovely Julie has set the challenge of no design papers!  Well, some of the team panicked a bit over this one, we are so dependent on our gorgeous papers!  So here is my make...

This is one of my all time faves - Nikki and buttercup Running in Snow!  I used Doodlebug glitter cardstock for the background and used a checked ribbon to stop it from being too boring!  I created an acetate window which I stamped white snowflakes on and then added punched out snowflakes in the window - I think I over did it as you can barely see poor Buttercup!!  Here's a closer look...

Nikki and buttercup Running in Snow is also our Stamp of the Month which means you can buy her for half price during October - what a great price!

You can see more gorgeous DT inspiration of Nikki and buttercup Running in Snow on the main post here - you're gonna love them!

That's it from me but I'll be back later with my By LoRi Designs DT card!

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Doodlebug glitter cardstock
Stamps: Ladybug Crafts Ink Nikki and buttercup Running in Snow, CC Designs snowflake stamp
